Philadelphia, Pennsylvania -
... Collins told NBC 10 that he feels grateful he was on a SEPTA subway platform near 15th and Market streets at 11:25 p.m. Sunday. The SEPTA maintenance custodian said he caught a man who was about to sexually assault a 13-year-old girl.
"When I turned around I seen this young girl running toward me from underneath the tunnel. Then I seen a guy running underneath the tunnel. It was on the eastbound side of 15th Street. He was running westbound," Collins said.
The man got away.
"I was so concerned about her. She ran into my arms. She was crying and shaking and everything," Collins said.
