MD-Missing website to close

I just noticed an announcment on the website for the Maryland Missing Persons Network that the website will close effective July 1.

why is it closing? Hopefully because a bigger and better website is yet to come.

I am just waiting for the day where there is a national missing persons's registry. Yes, we have the NCMA, but it is not enough.

Maryland Missing website now reports: "We have decided not to close this website. We are moving out of state, and apologize for this."
