Matthews said the woman was about
5 feet 2 inches tall and weighed about
120 pounds. Her body was so badly decomposed that investigators have not yet been able to determine her approximate age.
There was no obvious trauma to the body and Matthews said investigators think the woman's body had been in the water for three or four days.
She had
extensive dental work and had a post and two hoop earrings on her right ear. She was wearing a band on her right ring finger. A preliminary autopsy was preformed today, but the cause of death is still pending.
The body was found in a residential area with million dollar homes that face the river, Matthews said.
