Cary police were looking Thursday for a teenager who might have run away from home.


Tamara Quinones, 14, of Wax Myrtle Court, was last seen about 7 a.m. Dec. 20, wearing blue jeans, according to a police news release. She is 5 feet 6 inches and 140 pounds.

Because evidence suggests that she might have run away, police have not issued an Amber Alert.
Anyone who has seen Quinones or knows where she might be is asked to call the Cary Police Department at 469-4012.

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in reuniting a teen with her family this holiday season. Tamara Quinones, 14, of Wax Myrtle Court was last seen around 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 20th wearing blue jeans. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds. Because evidence suggests that the teen may have run away from home, the incident does not qualify for an Amber Alert. Anyone who has seen Quinones or who may have information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4012.
