Police: Dad Found Asleep In Car With Drugs, Baby

Police said the baby was lucky to be OK considering the circumstances surrounding their discovery.

Investigators said Campbell had become upset with his girlfriend because she went out to a club. They said while she was holding their baby, Campbell punched her in the face, causing her to fall down. He then began to kick her, police said.

When a friend tried to step in and help, Campbell punched her, too, before taking off with the 5-month-old child, police said.

According to police, shortly after the attack they found Campbell asleep in the car with his baby and the drugs inside.

So glad that he didn't take his anger out on the baby. I'll give him credit for that as there are so many dads who have harmed or killed their babies for revenge. Sounds to me like both mom and dad need to get their poop together. She still wants to go clubbing with her friends and he does the dope. Don't know if she does or not but someone is going to get hurt bad if they don't split or work on their relationship. Pitiful and the baby is right in the middle of it all.

This ain't the first time this mom got punched in the face. So, she leaves their infant with the dad who obviously is whacked out and she goes "clubbing". They should have locked them both up in my opinion. Five months old. Best is he went to sleep in the car in front of the house.
