Authorities are searching for an elderly man who has been missing for more than a month and a reward has been offered for any information about his whereabouts.

Eldon "Punk" Hues, 79, was last seen Nov. 26 around 6:45 p.m. at Lake Tejas in Shepherd.

Hues left his sister's house in his maroon T-100 Toyota pickup truck, with Texas license plate 9LT-M67. The truck was located Dec. 5.

Hues was last seen wearing blue jean overalls and a red plaid shirt and has numerous health problems.

Foul play is being investigated after a missing 79-year-old man's pickup truck was found but his whereabouts are still unknown, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Eldon Hues, known as "Punk," was last seen on Nov. 26 at about 5:30 p.m. leaving his sister's house in his maroon T-100 Toyota pickup truck, with Texas license plate 9LT-M67.

He was wearing blue jean overalls with a pink-and-green-striped western shirt.

San Jacinto County Sheriff Lacy Rogers confirmed on Sunday that the body of missing Alzheimer’s patient Eldon “Punk” Hues was recovered less than a mile from where his truck was found last November.

and

Sheriff Rogers does not suspect foul play at this time but that will be determined from the report by the medical examiner.
