Body found on fire in southwest Dallas 5:36 AM CT

Dallas police were continuing to investigate early Thursday after receiving a report that a body was burning in southwest Dallas.
The initial call came in to police shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday. An employee of a Dallas auto auction company reported that he saw flames coming from an area about 50 yards off the road in the 5300 block of West Kiest Boulevard, between Loop 12 and Spur 408.
Police did not release any information about the victim's identity and there was no word on whether any suspects had been developed by investigators.

Dallas police are investigating the late Wednesday burning death of a man in the Mountain Creek area of Dallas.

Firefighters found a man on fire and put the fire out. Authorities say the man was wearing a chain small statue that appeared to be that of St. Joseph.
