84-year-old Stanley Young likes to walk but his family is worried because they can't find him and he may need help.

Citrus County Sheriff's Office says Young's car was found but his family can't find him. They are asking help in locating Young who is described as a white man, about 5-feet 9-inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

Young was last seen wearing a multi-colored checked button down shirt and dark slacks. He lives in the Inverness Club Senior Apartments.

If anyone has seen Stanley Young deputies ask them to call 911 or 352-726-1121.

Thursday weather may impact search for missing man


Inverness - At nightfall, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office expects to conclude today's efforts at finding 84-year-old Stanley Young of Inverness, the man who was last seen on Saturday, February 2. However, the sheriff's helicopter will fly again tonight to continue its aerial search.
With the elderly man missing now for four days, sheriff's officials are well aware that time is of the essence. With cooler temperatures expected and inclement weather a possibility, they don't know how their search efforts tomorrow may be impacted.
Residents and businesspeople within a five-mile radius of Young's apartment home at 674 Ella Avenue are asked to check any unsecured sheds or outbuildings on their property just in case the man has taken refuge there.

Citrus County deputies say they have found the body of a missing elderly man.

84-year-old Stanley Young disappeared saturday from the Inverness Club Senior Apartments where he had recently moved. He was the target of a massive search ever since.

His body was found Thursday morning near the grounds of the apartment complex.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
