Thanks Auggie! That was a really interesting article - you could follow the thought process of the investigators to see how they arrived at their estimations about the woman.
I don't remember hearing about this case before (even though I'm relatively local). Hopefully one of the potential matches will give this Jane Doe her identity.

It seems to me like this women MAY be one being looked at. I wasn't able to find a 2001 case from Portland yet though.

I think the article said that she is being checked. (If she is the Hood River woman missing since 2004 that they are referring to). They are also checking a woman missing from Portland since 2001.

That crossed my mind too, english. But it seems that they are pretty confident she is an older woman, 45-55. She had also undergone a hysterectomy. They could be wrong, of course...
