Long time lurker who just finished reading the other threads-I am so sorry for the loss of Michael!

Do you guys think his case is related to the other cases across the country of missing/deceased college age men??

Thank you b9- Under our current MO for including cases, he cannot be ruled out. However, it is my personal opinion that Mike is not connected at this point. There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever that he was "placed" in that field though- he did not go there on his own, period.

Hey you

Just wanted to remind you (or me) that your among friends here.
I know you were there, but I am posting the pic I took at Montmartre where we lit a candle for you and said a prayer at the tippy top as that is the closest I will be to you for a while. I'm sorry it took me a while but I was not ready.

Any new news?

Bumping for Mike- you are in my thoughts and prayers~

Blink my friend ,
I KNOW you would have shared if you had any, but in case you forgot (doubt it-you r on top of things ), anything new about Mike? I was cleaning out my PMs and saw his name-

For some reason, when I think of him, I automatically think of NG- Such a shame- such beautiful young men that left us too early!

God Bless!

My very dearest Chico, unfortunately I do not have any new news on our darling Mike. You are so kind and special to think of Mike, Nick, and our friends and family. You are so right about the loss of these and other men that were truly taken from us just as they were about to "crest" and come into their own and certainly contribute to our lives. I have been asked to consider the possibility that we may never have the answers we need; or the accountability we would like in Mike's case, and I am attempting to work through that.
We'll see how I do, should be interesting.
Love to you-
Blink

Very little time goes by when I don't think of Michael. Just the other day I was in a local diner and there was a young boy who was the spitting image of him. I couldn't take my eyes off him, the resemblance was uncanny. I think it was Michael's way of letting me know he is not that far away. I can't believe it's been a year. Michael's case is what brought me to WS...it's changed my life. Thank you, Michael, for giving me purpose. No child should be lost. G-d bless his friends and family. Forever in my thoughts and prayers.

Mike~ You are forever in our thoughts, our hearts, and our prayers. The answers may not come easily, but those who love you will still be searching and asking, "Why?". You are not forgotten. I will light a candle for you tonight and say a prayer for peace in the hearts of the ones you left behind. You have found your peace. Be at rest, Mike. Your work is done.

(((((((Blink))))))) Wherever you are~ You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know today is so hard for you. Just know you are being surrounded by love and positive light to carry you through this difficult time. He is with you always. Hugs, My friend~

I just spent the last couple of days reading about Mike.

I'm left with one question. Blink said there was no frostbite.

So doesn't that mean he died in a warm place?

I could see him walking north, then feeling lost and deciding to go back to where his friends were, however, his friends say they left within minutes of Mike leaving and didn't see him.

If he turned and walked south to go back where he came from and missed it, and continued walking, at some point he would have gotten frostbit, not to mention that he would have turned around again when he realized he was leaving town!!
He didn't get hit by an auto, or picked up by a snowplow, or even stumble over the guardrail and fall and roll 100 yards, because there were no cuts or bruises on his body. He was not intoxicated. All that said, it really only leaves one plausible answer, and that is that he died in a warm place, and was placed in that field after death. Further, he must have been smothered or drugged with something that the toxocology did not find. I expect that the tests they ran were simply looking for street drugs, or cocaine, things of that nature.
What I find horrid is that LE should have sought the truth period. The cover up and slander of Mike's demise is horrific imo, and someone should be carrying around a guilty conscience.
The cc being found also screams something more sinister than the conclusion of LE.
I hope the family, and/or Blink continues to pursue this until they find someone who will sit up, take notice, and investigate. I sure would like more information on this case.
The case needs to be reopened and look at again. That he was found on property that belonged to the township smacks of probable bias on the part of township employees. I read nothing of what the CBI determined. Can anyone tell me if there was a seperate investigation by them and if they deteremined anything different than the local LE?

If I were the family, that is where I would go to get the case reopened. jmo

God bless Mike's family, and Blink...

Oh, I have one more question.
Did the guy who found the cc get the reward, and who provided that money?
I guess that's two more questions.

Blink, I do not know you or Mike, and just learned of him a couple days ago, however after reading the previous two threads, I have come to the same conclusion as you. Mike did not put himself in that field.

Whoever did this will be held accountable one day, of this I am sure.

Thanks for picking us. We love you. For those that are not familiar with Mike, this is a pic of a tree we walked past 1000 times in our park and never noticed until he was found. I wish things were different, doing the best I can with such a heavy heart.

Thinking about Michael out there in that field just makes me cry all over again. I don't/ can't believe that's how he died. Following the facts of the case the way that I did, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!

IIRC he did get the reward, but I'll have to go and try to verify it.

It is my fav photo of Mike, too. You can just see his warmth and personality so clearly.

No reason to thank me. I was where I belonged at the time.

Nope. I have learned that sometimes we are on God's time, not the other way around.
