Judge, Deputy Held Nanny Against Her Will In GA Home

ATLANTA -- A Fulton County judge and his son -- a deputy sheriff -- are among three family members accused of holding a nanny against her will and threatening the Indian woman with deportation.

Federal prosecutors charged Magistrate Judge D. William Garrett, 72, Forsyth County deputy Russell Garrett, 43, and Malika Garrett, 42, with human trafficking, alien harboring, witness tampering, and making false statements.

Russell and Malika Garrett are married and live in Woodstock. Russell Garrett is William Garrett's son.
The federal indictment accused the Garretts of conspiring to help an Indian woman "enter the United States under false pretenses for the purpose of serving as a nanny" for the Garrett's children.

This reminds me of the Sante Kimes case, she would get young girls from Mexico to come work for her as maids and then hold them as slaves. There was a report the other week about slavery in the world today and they said there are more slaves being held now than ever before in history. They said to pay attention to who is living in the homes around you, pay attention to if there are any children who don't go to school like the other children etc.
