There is still some question whether controversial air tests will be allowed in the trial. Perry ruled at the beginning of court on Monday that they would be allowed, but could reconsider after a defense complaint ( read judge's order

The judge asked prosecutors to help the defense get the needed information from the FBI.
WFTV’s legal expert Bill Sheaffer said Casey could claim she had ineffective counsel if she is convicted and her attorney didn't get the information about the tests.

Perry then released the entire group. Judge Perry said that one of the potential jurors was also listed as a witness in the case.
Perry said he ordered a new set of jurors for Wednesday and Thursday.

49 Potential Jurors Dismissed On Day 2 Of Casey Trial

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Judge Perry dismissed 49 potential jurors on day two of Casey Anthony's murder trial on Tuesday.
Cindy and George Anthony were not present.
Baez complained to the judge that his conversations with her were on the Internet and asked if the microphone at the defense table could be cut off. Judge Perry warned him that he's in a public courtroom.
A woman told Judge Perry that the case is very disturbing to her. She said it hits close to home because Casey reminds her of her niece, who's had a lot of problems.
"I don't feel I could fairly… I… I'm, I've already prejudged three years ago," the woman said.
Perry asked her what her opinion is and she looked right at Casey and said, "Guilty."
Casey stared straight at her, blinked and moments later her eyes reddened.

According to Judge Perry, a Texas Equusearch volunteer whose name is on the witness list was called to jury duty Tuesday at the Pinellas County Courthouse, and talked to Tuesday's jury pool about the case.

CLEARWATER -- Casey Anthony's life will be in the hands of a jury of 12 Pinellas County residents hand-picked by the state and the defense.
But the two sides aren't looking for the same type of person for the job.
Prosecution want jurors who have children -- young children -- and people who tend to form quick opinions.
Defense wants less judgemental personalities, people who have not heard much about Casey Anthony and jurors who have no children.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- A potential juror in the Casey Anthony trial was found in contempt Thursday by Judge Belvin Perry.
The juror spoke to a reporter at the courthouse with the intention of getting out of jury duty, Jonathan Green told Perry.
"I just wanted to get out of jury duty," Green told the judge.

Casey Anthony back in court after leaving for apparent illness

CLEARWATER -- Casey was escorted out of the courtroom this afternoon. It appeared she became sick during the afternoon session of jury selection.
Some news outlets were reporting she had a "dizzy spell," but that could not be confirmed. Anthony seemed like she may be having trouble breathing.
Judge Belvin Perry cited case law that said jury selection could continue without her present, she returned after Baez spoke with her.
Anthony wipes tears away again
Baez told the jurors, "It's my pleasure to introduce you to Casey Marie Anthony."
Anthony didn't make eye contact with them, started to shake her head when Perry read the murder indictment. She shut her eyes and wiped tears away with both hands and a tissue.
It was a repeat of what happened Monday, when Perry read the charges against her.
Woman excused because of religious practices
Juror 3158 told Perry he has sleep apnea and narcolepsy. He is told that he will be called back for a second round of questioning.
Juror 3385, told Per cancer survivor and devout Catholic and prays throughout the day." Perry excused her.
Casey is now back in the courtroom.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Day three of jury selection in the case against Casey Anthony was eventful on Wednesday.
First, Casey cried for the third time since her trial started, and then a potential juror was held in contempt for trying to talk about the case to a reporter, Casey then cried twice, and later was escorted out of the courtroom by officers. WFTV learned that she had some sort of pain in her hand or wrist.

Specialist married to death row inmate joins Casey Anthony's defense

Jose Baez just can't seem to stay away from controversy.
In the nearly three years he's represented Casey Anthony — whose case has enough drama of its own — Baez has been linked to a "spokesman" who tried to extort a journalist, and was working with lawyer Todd Macaluso until he got in trouble with the California Bar last year.
Now, Baez is working with a woman who's married to a killer sitting on Florida's death row.
The latest revelation came during jury selection this week, when mitigation specialist Rosalie Bolin appeared at the defense table with Anthony. As a mitigation specialist, her job is to find information about Casey Anthony's life that could help the defense in the event she's found guilty.

Abuse Claims May Be Used As Part Of Casey's Defense

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The defense tipped its hand on how it will defend Casey if she's convicted. One of Casey's lawyers, Anne Finnell, talked about the abuse that Casey claims she suffered as a child.
Casey's lawyers said she was sexually, emotionally and verbally abused.
"Lack of maturity, parental misconduct," said Finnell.
Casey sighed and swallowed hard when her lawyer shined the light on the defense.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said the defense has to walk a tightrope. They have to question potential jurors, even about the assumption that she's guilty to find out whether she'd get a fair shake at sentencing.
The first potential juror under the microscope said he hasn't formed an opinion about Casey's guilt or innocence, but does believe in the death penalty under certain circumstances.
WFTV jury expert Dr. Randy Fisher said the man may make it on the jury.
"He seems to be relatively moderate on most issues. He knows about the case, but he didn't follow it closely. Other reasons, he's in favor of the death penalty, but not terribly strongly," said Fisher.
