What "girl's voice"? Caylee's?
Help me on this--is the article poorly written or is the neighbor saying that he heard Caylee's voice the day Casey borrowed the shovel?

Which article is this? Do you have a link?

It is the timing of the burglary that is important and the fact gasoline in 2 cans were removed from the shed and taken to another location. It will become very important if those particular cans ended up back in the shed.

We always have a can of gas in garage, it is for the lawnmower. Dont know if George mowed the grass but down here, you have to moW alot.

for tracking crimes etc Orange seems limited in what you can find without a phone call.
http://ocso.com/CrimePrevention/Prop...3/Default.aspx
the area Casey and family lived in is 20A
Also yesterday DianeB posted a link to check if one of Casey's atty's was withdrawing..it listed a couple traffic tickets for her too, so perhaps from that link you could check names and gather some info?
I don't have the link handy for DB's post and need to get busy 'round the house, perhaps she can give it again?

Most large cities have online crime mappers. They keep track of reported crimes for the last 30 days. Only the address of the crime report and type of crime is used, not any names.

It appears that Baez and LE are confirming the gas cans were what was taken from the house.

Caylee Anthony’s uncle Lee Anthony says his parents have been talking with the FBI. George and Cindy Anthony also spent several hours speaking with Orange County Sheriff's investigators.
Local investigators are taking another look at the gas can stolen from the Anthony's back yard shed. That gas can disappeared in mid June around the time neighbors say Casey Anthony borrowed a shovel.
the article doesn't mention caylee's voice, but that was reported on june 24th by jesse grund. whose involvement in everything, while i won't mention it in detail here, seems sketchy....

We need to remember that just because something comes from a media report does not in any way make it true. One station reporting something from un-named sources and then other print media taking that information and repeating it as true just confuses the issue. For example, Fox news just a few minutes ago continued reporting that Cayley has been missing since June 9th, which has repeatedly been shown to be incorrect due to the video taken on the 15th. Most, if not ALL, of these reporters are not out questioning witnesses and seeking new information. They are sitting at a computer reading reports from other news outlets, taking notes from press conferences, and even reading this site.

This is the website for the Orange County Clerk's office.
I did a name search using just Anthony. Nothing registered for Cindy (there is a Cindy, but as we've discussed it's a much younger woman).
Casey had a couple of traffic violations prior to the current case. George has the previously-discussed financial cases brought by banks (interestingly, a notice of default was just filed on 7/31 for one of them) and the dismissed divorce proceedings.
After seeing the news footage of Lee peeling out of the jail parking lot like a bat out of hell the other day, I cracked up at seeing his four speeding tickets. What did Cindy say he told her? He was "scared" because he was being followed by news vans?
Yarite. The guy has a lead foot.

I suggest that George reported the gas cans stolen this time, because he and Cindy thought that Casey was either in Tampa for "work" or in Jacksonville for mini-vacation.
Cindy mentioned to Casey in one of the "daily" phone calls that they had reported the cans stolen.
Cans reappeared within the next few days and George thought it was a neighborhood kid who stole the cans for gas and dismissed it as relevant.
However, we now know that Casey was in the Orlando area at least much of the time that she was gone. Possible new interest in the gas cans.

Whew, almost as bad as New Orleans. So glad they have this online, it helps people find the best areas to live in... Of course, property values go sky high when a property is not sitting in one of these areas.

Mystery Break-In Solved
Anthony's father said he's solved the mystery break-in at his home.
The break-in happened around the same time Casey Anthony borrowed a shovel from a neighbor and the last time the girl's voice was heard.
"Someone had broken a lock and gas cans were taken," George Anthony said. "Gas cans with gas, probably in the neighborhood of $50 -- right around in there. I did find out who did it and they came back to me and that was the extent of it."
Understand about media completely--but in this particular instance it would back up what that weasel Baez (or Walsh) said about the shovel being borrowed while Caylee was alive. Thus her voice being heard by neighbor. This is from local media.
But we still don't know that date do we and what does that do to the timeline?

*nod, Blue* The JG connection is of most interest to me. That is the most vague of all, I won't mention it again, that's just where I'm wishing there was more info.

Mamasooze, we have to abide by copyright laws at WS. We have to provide a link to an article when a portion is copy and pasted.

Ok, these gas cans. If someone stole them, what were they doing back in George Anthony's shed???? Of course Casey stole them!! George had them back in the shed! Now LE has taken them in as evidence. I am surprised no one has questioned how they got back into George's shed if they were stolen by anyone other than someone in his own family.
