Washington State Snow Cave Collapse, 2 boys trapped (RESCUED!!)

2 Trapped In Snow Cave Collapse Near Snoqualmie Pass

http://www.kirotv.com/news/17257621/detail.html

SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. -- A snow cave near Melakwa Lake in the Snoqualmie Pass area has collapsed, trapping two teenage boys inside, Matt Cowan of the Snoqualmie Pass Fire Department said.
Melakwa Lake, in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, is off the Denny Creek exit of Interstate 90.

Cowan said the boys are 14 and 17 years old.

The King County Sheriff's Department told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Gary Horcher that technical avalanche and high-angel rescue teams, dogs and Eastside, Bellevue and Snoqualmie fire personnel are all participating in the rescue effort and trying to dig the snow out as fast as possible.
Cowan said they have made no contact with the boys since the collapse occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

The County Sheriff's Department said the boys were standing on a large snow mass while posing for a picture. Their parents reported hearing a noise, and when they turned back, the boys were gone.

My prayers for those boys and their families....
