"Everyone Lies, Everyone Dies" - Casey's MS, "Diary of Days", Blog Entry
Did Casey just make that up? Or are they actually lyrics to a song. If so, I'd like to read the rest of the lyrics. Or are they part of a poem?

I think Casey wrote that poem. I don't think they are words to a song. That is only part of the poem.

I don't know.
I think she wrote the words. I've never heard them in a song, and I asked my son and daughter (teens) if they had, and they hadn't heard them in any song.
Regardless, those words are very strong, sobering words given all we know up until this date, aren't they?

The song is 15th time, by Picture House.
Edited to add: I don't know for sure that Casey got those words from this song, just that the song contains those words.

Picture House is an Irish pop rock band, and that line was taken out of their song, "15th Time".
Biting it off again
Stabbing my feeding hand
Stepping off every train
to meet the same thing
Hosing the fire grate
Drinking the water baby
I've been a fool it seems
All these years
Making the old mistakes
Praying my day won't break
Everyone lies
Everyone lies
Everyone lies someday
Close to the open flames
I burn my tired wings
Drawn to the light it seems
In all these things
Leaving the one night standing
Finding the lost and lonely
Flies in my soup again
Is this my only face
Letting my bird escape
Everyone lies,everyone lies
Everyone lies someday
Someday everyone lies
Everyone lies
Everything dies someday
So for the 15th time
Parked on a double line
This happens every time
I change my mind
Making the old mistake
Praying my day won't break
Everyone lies
Everyone lies
Everyone lies someday
Everyone lies
Everything dies
Everyone dies someday
Edit: I was too late, sorry.

No one ever posts the full poem that she wrote. They stop it at the dramatic lines: "Everyone Lies. Everyone Dies." Somewhere and I'm trying to find it, it goes on after that line and really doesn't seem that dramatic.
Does anyone know where we can find the full poem? I thought it might actually be in 400 pages of docs but not sure.

I just googled, and found another song that contains those words, by a group called Humble Gods. I don't want to post the name of the song (if it's even allowed here!) Just another possibility.

“On the worst of worst days, remember the words spoken
Trust no one, only yourself.
With great power, comes great consequence.
What is given can be taken away.
Everyone Lies.
Everyone Dies.”
It's also in the documents as a printed page, but I don't want to wade through that. I believe Patty has an indexed version though.

I have often thought that someone other than Casey posted that "Poem"...if "boys" did indeed help her dispose of Caylee, then it could have been them as a sort of "warning" not to talk to LE about their involvement. Given the lyrical nature of the poem, the whole Fuzzy Red Balloons music group connection comes to mind and the band member Cameron...remember in her voice reversals where she said It's trashed. Carmen mishandled it {the phone} ...I've kind of thought that it sounded more like "Cameron".

But that's not the full poem. Those lines are only the half-way point of what she wrote. There is more to it...ugh I can't find it! lol

Everyone lies.
Everyone dies.
Life will never be easy.
On the worst of worst days,
Remember the words spoken.
Hold your head high.
Smile.
Laugh.
Love unconditionally.
Tomorrow is a brand new day."
It's on page 27 of the documents. First part.

This sounds like it is right out of the *I Ching*. I will have to go through the hexagrams and see if anything connects.

another song found with similar lyrics:
Everybody - Nobody
Everybody knows - nobody cares
Nobody cries
Everybody looks - nobody sees
No-one will open their eyes
Everybody runs - nobody wanna help
Left with an empty heart
And both of us thinking we're better
Than anything else on this earth
If we could just live to the letter
We could maybe find out what it's worth
What it's worth
Everybody waits - nobody's ever in
No-one to answer the phone
And everybody wants - nobody wants to give
You're taking more than your share
Everybody lies - nobody speaks
No-one to tell the truth
Everybody knows, everybody looks
Everybody runs, everybody waits
Everybody wants, everybody lies
And in the end, everybody dies
Without even living

This is a line straight out of Spiderman. Seriously.
I think she just took a bunch of cliche'd comments and threw them together.

...and the "hold your head high" part....and then Casey expressly leans into JB during her release from jail and SAYS, something like, I want to hold my head high walking out of here...I've done nothing wrong.
Could Casey have been communicating to whoever helped her in saying that?

Lol, that's the impression I got too. Her now defunct photobucket account had tons of icons with cliched phrases and quotes.

There may be more to the poem (or whatever it is) but Casey only posted those lines. I saw the screen shot myself. One can deduce those are the only lines she identified with.
What I found much more interesting was the fact that on July 7th she was "currently viewing" American Psycho. This movie has striking parallels with Casey's situation.

The line is actually
"With great power, comes great responsibility."
But close! Looks like she stole a bunch of lines from a lot of different places.

guys. Sometimes a song is just a song??? At 22 my favorite songs was "head like a hole" by nine inch nails! that song is about s&M. All I liked about the song was the music and the phrase "i rather die than give you control". so, I would not put too much emphasis on the song. JMO
