[quote=liltigress;2815581]Baez spokesman issues statement
11:50 a.m. The spokesman representing defense attorney Jose Baez issued a statement this morning accusing State Attorney Lawson Lamar of using Casey Anthony's case for his political benefit.
"Lawson Lamar has allowed authorities to let any real search fall by the wayside, to let his fight to keep his political office benefit from being placed on the front burner," the faxed statement from Todd Black said.
"THE TRUTH IS -- there's no time limit on bringing murder charges against any suspected offender. But, there is a limit on how much time Lawson Lamar has to impress voters, and, sadly, it is less impressive for him to deliver a missing child alive, or he would DEMAND that law enforcement keep investigating," the statement said.
"What Lawson Lamar has chosen to do is commercialize Ms. Anthony's missing daughter, Caylee, as the 'perfect springboard' to squeeze out his re-election. HIS TIME LIMIT ….the November elections!"

Baez is behaving like a cornered snake. His PR firm is a disgrace.

This guy is a clown of a spokesman. Speaks well for Baez. I feel like I am in remedial English.

Do you really think that they will cut a deal? I don't know.....with the stuff they argued in court doesn't sound like a deal on the horizon - maybe she's meeting with a new lawyer

In my book it's way way way to late to cut ANY deal. I would happily insert the needle myself. Even that is to kind for KC.

If she had a good lawyer, they would be trying like heck to cut a deal at this point. After the indictments there may be no opportunity for one depending on the evidence. Keep in mind this can be a death penalty case.

You can only plead the 5th to avoid "self-incrimination."

I have felt all along that GA knows about or was part of Caylee's burial. Those thoughts make me think that he has been given immunity to testify to where her body is located today. Pure speculation in my part.

Casey is in her business attire. She would do just as well representing herself. Heh...
Baez, Casey and Black...

Interchangeably...

Turbo, even if those are not the same pin striped pants, (which I believe they may be) can you believe the irony in that? Makes me sick to think of it!

His lawyer said he answered all the Grand Jury's questions. According to Cindy, he had nothing incriminating on her daughter, so why would she pressure George to plead the Fifth (it would mean he didn't want to answer because it could incriminate HIM).

Bringing Caylee back alive would be the most impressive thing as he would be a hero so this statement is totally wrong and frankly disgusting since we know it isn't possible.
|
I think what he means is - even if LE's investigation leads them to a dead child, they should still continue to search for an alive Caylee because Cindy Anthony said so!. I mean how long will this woman continue to do this. If they find this baby dead will she say it is not Caylee?
