Dear Kyle,

You are a hero and a survivor. Although life has taught you differently, from now on I believe that you will begin to learn that there are good people in this world, people that will love you, need you, want you and who will show you that you matter, that you are good enough, and that you are valuable.

Thank you Kyle for showing others who may be experiencing what you have, that they too can get away, and that they don't have to accept what is happening to them. I'm certain your actions will save lives.

You have captured the heart of the Nation. You are so very brave. What you had to endure at the hands of these Monsters will be punished, of that I have no doubt. However, my caring and concern is only for you right now. You are a survivor!!! I pray you will live the rest of your life in a happier, healthier place. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please, please let the people who love you help you. What happened to you is in no way your fault, and I pray that you are able to heal. Getting out of that horrible situations shows that your spirit is strong, and I am so, so proud of you. Please do not let these monsters have anymore power over you. I just want you to know how proud I am of you! You survived a horrible situation that many people would not be able to survive. And you escaped! You are truly a special person. Know that you have the power within yourself to overcome your past. Many are faced with tragedies during their lifetimes, some are able to use those same tragedies as a stepping stone to a bigger, better, brighter future. While others use those tragedies to forever live in the past and never truly heal. May you be one of the ones that live the American dream of a bigger, better, brighter life.

Listen to your heart, learn the power of forgiveness to allow you to truly heal and be triumphant over those who did you harm. When you learn forgiveness, you take the power away from the ones who did you harm and use that power within yourself to succeed in life.

Kyle, go out in life and do everything you can ever dream of doing, be the best that the Lord meant you to be at whatever you choose to do in life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May you succeed in whatever venture you put forth.

I pray that your life will now be filled with love and happiness. You have witnessed the worst that people can be and survived it.

Your will to live, your strength and courage to survive have amazed us all.

More people than you will ever know care so much about you and have held you close to us in our thoughts and in our prayers. I would not be surprised if you feel that there is no reason to have hope for the future or faith in the goodness that this world has to offer, but please try to hold on to the knowledge that there are safe places and loving people very near.

You are an amazing and brave person. You can accomplish anything that you set your mind to; you have proven that. You will move past these difficult days and I wish you only peace and happiness in the future.

Just wanted you to know that more people than you can imagine are praying for you, and that you are special. God kept you alive and strong for a reason, and you are going to go on to do great things, and help many many people in thier own struggles.

Kyle,

You probably don't realize this, but you serve as an inspiration to people all over the world - from our troops fighting in the middle east, to business people on wall street, to children who do not get the love they deserve. Everyone I know who has heard of your story was amazed at your strength. Most people "give up" when faced with MUCH, MUCH less. I look at what you have done and I am amazed - you escaped; you fought; you survived. You must have such a drive for life - and its so inspiring.

Recently I have been depressed, thinking certain things in my life were "hopeless" - then I read about your story and immediately thought I should be greatful for what I have, and if things are bad, I can change them. What I'm going through is nothing compared to what you have gone through - and now there is a little voice in the back of my head that says, if Kyle got out, I can get out.

I hope you have a wonderful 2009 and meet and learn to trust people who will truly love you and cherish you. You have your whole life ahead of you, and I know you will make the best of it.
