He and his wife have given up trips for this case (they love to travel) . . . CM's personality very serious, committed, real big issue w/media generally speaking . . . wanting someone to ask questions that are significant . . . "so did she do it?" is not the question he will answer.

I wonder if Jose had set that up in order to show that the area had already made it's mind up so he could use it somehow.

I think IS is making the most of what they have. The State is clearly taking the high road and steering clear of the media. This tactic says a great deal about their ethics and their confidence in their case.
Unfortunately, it leaves the DT a great deal of latitude to snatch up media appearances and in this case, with IS doing its best to ratchet up its viewership pre-trial, they were probably more than thrilled to have such an accommodating defense team willing to open their homes and share their opinions. If DT played by SA rules, they'd refuse interviews before trial so as not to sway potential jurors--and if SA played by DT rules, IMO, TruTV would be glad to have the SA on too.
(LOL CM now talking about rampant jealousy among other lawyers--oblique reference to two current media legal analysts who wanted to be on this team and were rejected so now they are being critical.)

CM is concerned about "Stealth" jurors - those who have an agenda. They will lie just to get on the jury. Have alterior motives, like book deals, etc...

Jean C said in Jessica Lunsford case vs Cooey she was in jury selection for 1 week and could not get a jury due to people having pre-conceived notion he was guilty . . . trial was moved and postponed for 6 months

Wanda from Jennings is right. I am her neighbor, and everyone knows about this case, just not to the extent WS'ers do.

Jean C says CM speaks the truth and doesn't pull any punches. he has been harrassed in restaurants and postpone vacations with his wife but that is not the biggest problem with this case . . .

CM says biggest problem is the news media and their access to info thru FL ridiculous sunshine law . . . the SA has revealed to the public over 26,000 pages of documents . . . a short frenzy . . . guess who is complaining at the last . . the ones who caused it the media. . . can't throw the baby out with the bath water . . . reporters should have access to court proceedings and report what you see and hear but quit speculating.
FL have passed public access laws need to be changed . . . 1 month ago CM sent a letter to representatives and governor to have that repealed. . . hasn't heard from them but he contends it is costing taxpayers more $ due to the media's access to documents before CM has had.

CM thinks Public records law never envisioned what it would cause . . . we have some people who are in category of journalists but should not be called journalist . . .some one who researches and reviews the case . . not did you do it . . . why did you do it . . .

CM thinks the Sunshine Laws are ridiculous. He doesn't think the intention was to do what it has done in this case.
Talking about journalists asking stupid questions.

adolescent approach by untrained people . . . perp walks with microphone in his face with "did ya do it why did ya do it". . . that is not journalism . . . journalism is reporting something meaningful not accusing someone who has not had a trial . . . consider the rights of the defendant

CM has written and lectured on the theory of the defense . . how does the defense arrive @ their defense .
1) listen to their client . . they will tell ya how to defend their case . . . not everyone is guilty. . . 90% of all results in a plea . . .
2) what the law is and what the fact are . . . some are easy are a simple alibi . . . a man who spent years in prison for a rape he didn't commit . . . he would have had to average 165 miles an hour on his motorcycle . . . 5 years ago we got him out on a dna investigation. . . .alibi, self-defense . . . sometimes they are more complicated than that. . . I can't prove the negative and they can't prove the positive

Circumstantial cases are always harder . . . every bit of evidence has potential in the case . . . the SA have a theory they want to get into trial that is what the courtroom is for. . . .
Felony murder during aggravated child abuse the child abuse must be proven first.

DT will just try to shoot down each piece of circumstantial evidence by objecting to it during the trial. CM seems to be saying this will be their approach. GOOD LUCK
