This is 15 minutes away from where I live. They showed a picture of these two adorable little ones on TV but I can't find it yet online, will keep searching. Hope this woman is not going to hurt them.

I posted a thread in the Missing/Located forum for this as well because I got confused from the previous Amber Alert having so many threads everywhere.

That one has the girls' picture in it.

So I guess we can discuss there?

If I messed up please merge.

Danville Polce tell us that 10-year-old Pepper McCadden and 12-year-old India Lovelace have been found safe at a home on Beavers Mill Road.
Investigators tell us they got a tip from a neighbor who claimed to have seen Jennifer Westscott at the home.
Police went to the door but no one would answer, so they went to obtain a search warrant.

Around 9:30 p.m. police tell us they were able to get the kids out safely.

Jennifer Westscott was taken into custody and is charged abduction.

Oh thank god for that !

I wonder why she doesnt have custody of them '

They look like beautiful girls and the Mother looks like a normal mother (ie not spaced out or anything )

I truly hope this is NOT one of those cases where they were taken wrongly in the first place

What makes a mother do something that desperate ?? as to kidnap her children like that ....

I hope more comes out about this story

That link doesn't work for me.

Story of the events last night:
http://www.wset.com/news/stories/0109/582822.html

They had footage of the police escorting the woman from the house on the local news this morning. She didn't look anything like the picture. I think that's an old pic.

Sad because I think the woman is troubled, but thankful the girls are safe and sound with their grandmother this morning. If that quote you posted is true, there is good reason that she's separated from them.
