Esperanza Nicole Martinez Missing Girl Alabama --

The state of Alabama has issued an Emergency Missing Child Media Alert. The Thorsby Police Department and the Alabama Department of Public Safety ask for your assistance in locating Esperanza Nicole Martinez, Hispanic, female, age 14, 5'10", 120 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes.

Esperanza Martinez was last seen May 22, 2004 in Thorsby, Alabama, and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Esperanza was wearing blue jeans and a white tee shirt. She has pierced ears and overlapping front teeth.

Just on the news.....
A report says she was raped by a man named Martinez--no relation 2 years ago. He was out on bond, yes bond. Apparently she left her aunt's store to go 50 yards to buy ice cream. She hasn't been seen since. Police fear the abductor has taken her to Mexico. Let's hope she is alive. Disturbing story. He should have been in JAIL!

Missing teen on way back to Chilton

A 14-year-old girl missing from Thorsby for nearly two weeks was on her way home Thursday to Chilton County, authorities said.

Anselmo Martinez left Wednesday to pick up his daughter, Esperanza Nicole "Nikki" Martinez , after she called him from along the Texas-Mexico border, said Thorsby Police Chief Ed Prady.
