AUSTIN — Arrest warrants have been issued for an Austin couple whom police are seeking for allegedly videotaping and photographing themselves sexually assaulting two children, including a toddler, according to authorities.

Police are searching for Mariana Garcia, 23, and Adrian Navarro, 29. In one video, Garcia, was seen holding a girl “that appears under the age of 2” while Navarro, assaulted the child, according to arrest affidavits.

“It was shocking,” said child abuse unit Detective Joel Pridgeon in an online story today for the Austin American-Statesman.

Police said Wednesday that they are still trying to determine the identity of the children and do not know their whereabouts.

“We know those children exist. They are here in Austin, not on the other side of the world, so there is a greater urgency now that we know those kids are close by,” said Pridgeon.

Here's a link with more pictures, especially of Navarro's tattoos, which should make him pretty easy to recognize, Garcia's eyebrows are shaved (which seems to be a trend for Hispanic women) but she has a freckled complexion.

The older myspace profile is very telling. It states that he has a girlfriend who is pregnant (last login was in 2006) so it could even be his own child tat he was harming. Under general interests he lists sex and beastiality, along with other things. Under movies he states he is a porn fanatic....nice.

I may have to stay away from this one since the last case similar to this one (Chester Stiles) screwed me up really bad-to say the least.

I read about these "people" on another site. What happens to make someone so completely screwed up. I think one of the children was their own. If I understood one of the articles they have their children with them.

I hope they're found soon and that the children are safe. As for them I'd like to see them ran over with a semi.

According to his myspace site in 2006 his girlfriend was pregnant. Could the child be theirs? That would make any child they had about 2 years of age. Also on his site he says he likes beastiality. Now this is on his public site. WHAT does he say on his private site? DCS needs to look into this case as their baby may be in danger as well as what ever child they were assaulting. They need to fry this couple and remove thier child.

The mother who allegedly sexually abused two children under 5 years old, Mariana Garcia, was apprehended in Mexico Wednesday...

...The children are now in the hands of Child Protective Services while the charges play out.

The children are in CPS of Texas from what I've read in other articles and the Mother was facing extradition from Mexico because she is a Mexican citizen and was arrested there.

I can't seem to locate any updates on whether she has been extradited as of yet, and any court dates he may have made. I hope the children are doing well in foster care.
