Question - in Florida can you be pulled over only for no seatbelt, or do you have to violate some other law to get pulled over and then they can site you for the seatbelt?

With that many citations in that short of time it seems like maybe the police had their eye on her....interesting.

Her habbit of running stop signs AND not buckling up children infuriates me!! There is no excuse for either, with that many convictions she needs more than a fine, thats child neglect! <sorry, I'm passionate about properly restraining children>

What is killing me is the fact these people are making babies while using ilegal drugs, let alone the over the counter meds. they must take when they can't score. These babys in the womb being made from being high at conception or drugged while in justation period sets them up for such a diificult struggle when they are born. Life isn't all about bisquits and gravey. There needs some education early on in Satsumie! Teaching just can't be left up to the schools. It must carry on in the home! Are ase workers going to be in trouble concerning this case?

Well, if she has a child in her car, odds are: they are not going to be seat-belted in. Good gawd... how hard is it to "click click" yer child in a darn seat. :|

Hope LE did question her... I had to read back over it to make sure I read right: that she aided a prisoner in escaping.

Ya know, some families have colorful families... but these 2 familes are like the fluorescent crayola crayon box of misdemeanors and felonies...

Hi, mydailyopinions!

Not buckling to me should amount to something akin to child endangerment. We see the charges, so I would like to see what she wound up with in the form of fines, etc.

Were they her children? My BP goes way up when I see any form of neglect and to me, this is neglect. It is a total disregard for the children's safety.

I worked in the ER of a very busy level one trauma center.
I think teens should have to spend a night there before they can get their DL. Maybe that would have been a suitable punishment for her...nah, I doubt it woul have done any good.
I've been known to call non emergency dispatch when I see a child not buckled in. That's one of my BIGGEST pet peeves. Period.

Child negelct, IMO.

Do we know her age? Does she have children of her own, her 1st violation for Child restraint violation is 9/10/2002 with the last one 11/5/2008. Could she have been helping RC take care of the children and they were the ones in the car when she got these violations?
