Police Respond To Call, Discover Woman Missing

Wickliffe police are searching for a 42-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since March 15.

Police were called to the home of Lisa A. Allen after a neighbor reported that the front door of the home had been open for several days.

Allen's car, wallet, ID and keys were all found in the home.

Family members said Allen has a history of mental illness and she stopped taking her prescribed medications in December.

Investigators are not suspecting foul play at this time, but fear that Allen’s mental state may place her in danger.

Police are looking for a 43-year-old Wickliffe woman who has been missing since last month.

Lisa Allen was last seen at her residence on March 5 and she was reported missing on March 18.

Her residence was found unlocked and mail had accumulated. Allen also left her purse behind.

Allen suffers from schizophrenia and had spoken about committing suicide in the past. She has had no contact with family members in the last month.

She is known to be very religious and uses taxicabs for transportation.

Allen is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 240 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen Allen should call 440-943-1234 or dial 911.

FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio -- A body was found in Fairport Harbor Monday afternoon.

Officials said they should have an identity by the end of the week...

Using DNA testing, Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office determined the body, found in Fairport Harbor, is that of 43-year-old Lisa A. Allen, according to a news release from the Wickliffe Police Department.
Additional testing, including a toxicology exam, are under way, said Hengst, adding that there is no ruling yet on the cause of death. He said it could be several weeks before the tests are completed.
