This has got to be a nightmare for the family. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jodi's family. May they soon get their beautiful daughter back, safe and sound in their arms, where she belongs. God bless you and keep strong.

I don't see Jodi on many missing persons sites, either... We might try emailing the sites as we come to them, but I'd imagine a family member has to have a person added to most of them.
I am horrified by the lack of publicity on this case!

Didn't find anything new today.
It's scary that someone can disappear so completely.
Also, I can understand (and even admire) the family's desire not to get into fights with the ex's family in the media, but I have to say it's frustrating. They need to be more vocal, if for no other reason than to keep this case alive. There's no reason for a missing kid case less than two months old to turn into a cold case, but that's what this one is doing. I suspect it's because the ex's family told media that she was a bad girl who is prone to running away. And people will be affected by that story, because the family isn't really disputing it. It's all very frustrating.
They have to keep this in the public view.

Plea from parents generates leads in search for Jodi Henrickson

Police say that a plea made by parents of a missing Squamish teen has generated new leads in a coordinated search.
RCMP Cpl. Dave Ritchie said that police combed terrain on Bowen Island with search dogs last weekend after learning new information. He could not say which community the tips came from or where exactly the search units combed the island.

I found a description of Jodi's purse on the FB page:
"huge, black and leather with little pink and yellow flowers on the rings connecting the straps to the bag"
No particular brand, the poster said.

I think there are shots there from the party she attended the night she went missing, but I'm not sure. There is also an aerial shot of the search area (from 2004).
Don't mean to tut-tut here, but there are an awful lot of photos of drunken teens on that site... sigh. What a high price for a "good time." I wonder what role alcohol played in all of this.
That party seems like a key thing - wish we could find out more about it.
Such a frustratingly silent case!

What do you guys make of "maybe" and her comment? Is it possible she/he saw Jodi that night with a guy like s/he describes? (Thinking the commenter is female, given the attention paid to the boots.)
The failure of people to come forward is pizzing me off. If this really is some sort of "teen wall of silence" those little brats better grow up and realize this is not a game.

I found Jodi's uncle - on FB he said he was in California, and I found his blog. He is currently in BC helping with the search.
This is from his post about Jodi - very sad, and I feel for them all.
