15-year old Cristal Vargas has been missing for more than a week. Her mother says she left with some clothes and they haven't heard from her since. They believe she's a runaway. The problem is that she just found out she's diabetic. Her mother is worried that she will not be getting the medication that she needs.

Cristal's mother is also worried because her daughter's MySpace page says she's 18, when she's really only 15 years old.

I just received a Poster Partner e-mail from NCMEC stating that distribution of Cristal's poster has been restricted. Hopefully we'll get a recovered message soon.

By recovered, do they mean found alive or deceased?

I *believe*, but am not certain, that they use recovered when the person is located alive. I say that because this is the wording I've seen in cases where the person was deceased:
