AMBER Alert issued for missing Boise boy
An Amber Alert has been issued for an 7-year-old boy Boise, Idaho boy who may have been a victim of a parental kidnaping.
Police say 7-year-old Luca Principali was taken from an apartment Wednesday afternoon.
The boy's sister answered the door at about 3:45 p.m. when she noticed a man knocking. The man told the girl that he wanted to see Luca because his mother wanted to see him. The boy's sister said she heard a scream before Luca and the man disappeared.

Amber alert issued for Boise boy Boise police have issued an amber alert for 7-year old Luca Principali. He was last seen near his home in the Laurel Park Apartments on Avenue H in downtown Boise. He's described as 4 feet tall, 60 lbs, with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Darth Vader T-shirt, camouflage knee-length shorts, and with bare feet. We'll have a picture posted as soon as one becomes available

New info from press release from Boise Police Department per KTVB on tv now. KTVB.com
Luca lives with his custodial father in Boise. Father not home at the time of the abduction. Older teenage sister was home at the time. The man asked for Luca by name, and Luca came to the door. Sister did not see a vehicle. The abductor is believed to be working with Luca's non-custodial mother, who lives out of state(? I think I heard that right). The FBI is involved.

Questions answered in red per previous post of mine. Info from BPD and KTVB.
From the news right now...
Police officers still gathering info. Going door to door, opening car trunks, etc. A lot of transient traffic per local resident. Suspect asked for Luca by name and said Luca's mother wanted to talk to him. AMBER Alert was delayed because BPD was following leads, but leads fell through. No reason to believe he is in danger, but because of the manner in which he was taken, his safety is a concern. Evidence that he may be with his mother now.

Seven-year-old Luca Principali of Boise was abducted by a bearded man in colorful clothing Wednesday night, in what police say may be a parental abduction.
Boise police launched a massive search, issued an Amber Alert and are asking for the public to help find the boy.
Although no specific threats have been made, Luca is in imminent danger because he was abducted, Boise police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower said.
According to Hightower, Wednesday's abduction unfolded like this:
About 3:45 p.m., a bearded man knocked on a door at the Laurel Park Apartments on North Avenue H in East Boise and asked a young teenage girl to speak with Luca. The man made a comment about Luca's mother. Luca came to the door and the teen turned her back for a moment. The teen heard a scream and the man and Luca were gone. The girl then called emergency dispatch.
Police followed a few immediate leads, but hours later expanded the search to include the public and issued an the alert, Hightower said.
"For the first 2-3 hours officers didn't really know what they had," Hightower said. "Officers are very, very concerned for (Luca's) welfare and safety."
Boise police have asked for assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Luca is light-skinned, 4 feet tall and 60 pounds with brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Darth Vader T-shirt and camo-print shorts. He goes by the nickname Goober.
The teen described her brother's abductor as approximately 45 years old, 5-foot-11, 195 pounds with short, light brown hair and a full beard. The suspect was wearing a red, white, purple and green horizontal-striped short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. There is no description of the suspect's vehicle.
Luca lived in Boise with his custodial father. The mother lives out of state.
Hightower characterized the police response as "massive" and said it matched the initial search for Robert Manwill, who was reported missing July 24 and found dead on Aug. 3 in a canal near Kuna. Robert's mother and her boyfriend have be charged with his murder.
An Amber alert was not issued for Manwill's disappearance, Hightower said, because there was no known abduction.

A person of interest in the case is Ekatrina Principali, also known as Moryakova.
The suspect police believe is involved in the abduction was described as a light-complected male, about 45, 5 foot 11 inches tall, 190 pounds, with light-brown hair cut short and thinning on top, and a full beard.
The suspect was wearing a red, white, purple and green horizontal-stripe shirt and blue jeans.
Investigators are looking for a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with California plate 6GQC981. Officials said the suspects were possibly driving this vehicle when the abduction occurred.
Boise investigators said that at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to a report of a child missing from his apartment on the 400 block of North Avenue H (northeast of Reserve Street and Mountain Cove Road). After investigating, officers determined the boy had been taken from his apartment by an unknown male.
