I've gone completely through the Boise, ID SO Registry...long shot I know but hey, I'm sick and home from church so I might as well use my time constructively...lol
So, here are some side by side composites of the suspect photo and photos from the registry. Pretty scary.

Is it possible she got a ride from maybe another trucker or someone as far as this truck stop and then started looking for another ride? I just can't imagine her deliberately meeting up with this guy. I'm thinking she was getting rides from strangers to get her to where she really wanted to go.

Wow momtective -= that's amazing! Not sure about anyone else, but the 1st and 3rd guy sure look alot like him. I see glasses right? thanks for all that you do here...

Alright, I'm headed out to do some Christmas shopping in Boise. Going to stop at Kinkos and get some flyers printed. Hopefully some of the places I stop at will let me put them up. Also going to the Boise Mall, so will try to hand some out there, too. Hoping to hear good news about Hailey when I get back.

I don't know the answers to your questions. I am sorry.
The police are investigating the computer activity route.
Her parents don't know how she met this man or if this is just someone she caught a ride with. It's possible she is hitching rides, which is very scary for anyone let alone a young girl.
Great work momdetective! It's scary how many RSO's resemble this guy. Scary also that the man in the Kimmi disappearance also does.
I have sent her mom a link to this thread but they are very busy right now in their search, I don't know if she will read or post.
I will pass along any new info.
I made a video to help get her picture and information out there. Feel free to share it/post it/email it/twitter it. With no "real media" covering Hailey, social networking hopefully can reach someone that may know something.

ITA Fairy1 about Hailey deliberately meeting up w/ the guy in the photos -- it doesn't seem likely unless maybe she knows him somehow....I hope they find her safe soon.

Just searched the literature and can't find a single article written about Hailey Elliott other than the ones already posted.
How and the heck did she get to the Chevron? No log-ons to her Facebook since September, no cell phone, no ID, no money, no gift cards, no nothing, how did she think she would communicate, eat, live?
...Did she hitchhike to the Chevron?
...This guy is scary - can't imagine this was planned in advance
...Is there a change of clothes in her backpack?
...any relatives in the area?

It makes me sick also! So many many children are not afforded any local let alone regional or national media.
Heaven forbid, the child is found murdered...then they swarm all over the story like wolves.
It's just wrong.

I know she was formally from Boise. Does she have relatives there? I don't know.
No one knows how she got to the Chevron.
Not sure about the change of clothes in the backpack.
She may have had money/gift cards. That has not been mentioned by her mom.

Thanks for posting this on Hailey...it seem like the media has any any coverage on her.
My daughter works close to interstate 70 in Illinois with about 6 or 7 truckstops I will give her posters to place in the truck stops on Monday....Hope I won't have to by tomorrow.

To me, it looks like he is wearing glasses. He is also wearing a watch on his left wrist, so I assume he is right-handed.

Was she a "boarder" at the school?? what type school was it?
were the students allowed to come and go freely? did they have a student id?
is she thought to be a runaway..maybe hitching or ??
it does seem odd that there is so little info...I think they need to get more details out there and get the media involved
it is sad that some cases simply fall thru the cracks...sometimes the LE is too quick to assume they are a runaway IMHO

Looked up Elliott's in Idaho - tons of them. Need a first initial at least. Hope this lovely young girl is found soon.
I know we have given gift cards (Visa) from Chase bank - and if lost or stolen every purchase can be traced. Might be worth looking into any gift cards she may have received...with any luck, she is using them.
