CA- Santa Cruz- White Female 675UFCA, 31-51, April 2008 - Reina Olimpia Swierski
This womans partial remains were found on 4-4-2008 in Santa Cruz, CA. Her head was found in a bag on the side of Highway 17, and I assume that the remainder of her was not located. Since her body is still missing, there are no height or weight estimates.
Although there was some soft tissue attached, they think she had been dead for years, although they didn't say how many.
Estimated age 31-51, with a full upper denture. No mention of bottom teeth, although it says the lower jaw was present.
Her DNA is available, according to Namus. According to Doe, it is only available at the state lab, making no guarantees that it made to the national database.

Charlene Elizabeth White, went missing in mid-November 1997 from San Bernardino, CA. She was a white female, small stature, with upper and lower dentures. She was 41, with short brown hair. Apparently just got up and walked away from her home after a fight with her friend. She had tattoos, but since the Doe was a skull only, they don't help much.

The Charley page gives her place of disappearance as Meltone, CA, as opposed to San Bernardino.
I still can't do pictures, not for lack of trying, but, I see a definite resemblance in the Doe's reconstruction and Charlene's pictures. I don't know what she would have done for all the time she was missing, and I don't know for sure how long the Doe was dead, so I figured I could use a second opinion.

Definite resemblance in the descriptions, too. Age, denture, etc. It sounds like the friend saw her after the family did, but maybe they discount the friend's information?
Anyway, I say go for it.

I wonder if her 'friend' had anything to do with it?

Submitted, now playing the waiting game.
I doubt I'll hear back, since I emailed it in, but if I get anything definitive, I will share, given that I am permitted to.

Ruled out. The skull does not match Charlene. Apparently they have dentals on the bottom teeth in the skull which aren't posted online (I didn't even know there were lower teeth). They will be updating the UID profile to show those asap. but Charlene had nothing but dentures, so it isn't her.
I did get a very nice, very encouraging email. I'll put her up on the rule out list soon.

Her smile looks kind and genuine. For some reason, I feel like she is dearly missed by those who love her.
 Rest in peace, Reina
