My sincere apologies. I did not realize when I glanced at the calendar that I put the wrong date! The show will be on TODAY March 09, 2010. Originally I posted it as March 16th, I will try and reach you by email to clarify. So that you can tune in ...on time.

Sarah's segment hasn't aired yet (EST zone). The segment should appear during the 9AM hour (eastern time).

Praying this show helps lead to Sarah's safe recovery. Prayers with the family and thankful we have Lavanda Dolce here to keep us informed.

They changed the schedule and the family will be on at 9:05 am ...Some locations may have Regis and Kelly on at 9am. However, it will be available near immediately following the interview, online at http://today.msnbc.msn.com/
I researched and could not find anywhere online in which The Today show could be viewed live online. Will have to wait until available on their web page. It should be an in depth interview as the crew taped at the home of Sarah and Fritz, including Elias. I understand Ann Curry will be doing the interview and they will be playing portions of their video taped at the home and it is very emotional.
Prayers this broadcast will help bring awareness and someone will come forward.

It's just after 9 AM EST and shortly Sarah's story will be on NBC's Today Show.

The show announced Sarah's husband, son and parents will be on.

The interview was good. It seemed to highlight the important things, Sarah's photo was shown several times, the phone number for tips was shown and the family interviewed well (IMO).

Praying for tips to pour in that lead to Sarah getting home safely to her family. Her little boy is a doll.

Thanks for the recap boyz_mum. I can't watch cuz i am at work. I am so glad to hear Sarah is getting national attention like this. The Today Show is a huge step as far as reaching as many people as possible.

Lavanda - do you know if America's Most Wanted has been contacted? Now that Sarah has been featured on The Today Show other national shows may be more likely to pick up the story too.

The story has been on America's MOst Wanted's website only and Nancy Grace's website only. The Today Show seems to be the first "national" show to give this case some real coverage. Hopefully some others follow like Larry King Live and the Nancy Grace Show and AMW.

I wish they had mentioned that she may have got into a vehicle heading south.

And her mom seems to think she could be okay, functioning all right.
If that is the case, then she could indeed be anywhere.

Sarah was added to the America's Most Wanted website. As far as portraying her missing status on the actual show, no. Getting her to the website was a great help by a family friend of Sarah's father. I would love to see a flood of emails to go out to People Magazine. They may pay special attention now that she has been portrayed on the Today Show. I have a prepared letter with links if anyone wishes to help contact People magazine. Please email me at info@lostnmissing.com. I think the more letters they receive, the more possibility of them picking up coverage. Thanks all for your help, and prayers.

Let me clarify her mom's statement. Because it was a very stressful and nervous event to speak out on National tv, a lot that was wanted to be said was not. This is normal. Ora, Sarah's mother, in stating that she could be "fine" was stated as an alternative to saying "feared deceased." When non medicated even in a manic state once coming down one usually falls to deep depression until the next state. At the same time, the schizophrenia is constant without medications. So she is not fine emotionally. Her mother's words were to imply a positive that she is "fine" instead of saying "deceased." No parent wants to give up hope. She was trying to provide hope.

Yes. That was the most important point that I wanted to see, as well. Again, the family was very nervous. I will add that the interview on MSNBC that followed in the afternoon was excellent. Bob, Sarah's father, was much more comfortable and was able to convey the footprints leading to the southbound lanes as well as the "ride" of the mysterious person. The MSNBC was much better in details. The Today Show was very emotional with the video. One had to have kleenex to get through it. Elias is such a beautiful little boy and I want nothing more than for him to have his mommy.

IMPORTANT:
A woman from Athens, GA contacted me and I turned her over to the Private Investigator. She stated that a young woman, tall and very pretty with blonde hair, dirty and just "doesnt fit" the homeless scene was on 106 in Athens GA or on North Avenue in Athens, GA. She felt that it should be checked out. She said the young woman had a sign but she couldnt read it. The Today Show broadcast caught her attention. If anyone on WS who is from the Athens GA area can check that area out...and if possible, if this young woman is seen...can capture a photo of her on their cell phone. Perhaps even approach her to talk and see if it could be her. If so, call the police right away. She is listed in NCIC.

I so hope they get good leads from the show. Any word on the possible GA sighting?

No. It would be far too soon for an update. First have to hope to find the young woman again. The private investigator handling her case is aware. I also sent a message to another WS member who may live in that area to see if he/she can help.
