IF any of this really did go down via craigslist, it has been widely reported for years that craigslist fully cooperates with LE re: IP and URL stuff. [lol, I don't actually know what either one of those are, but craigslist does hand it over. See Vanity Fair article re: Craigslist Killer.]

They are definantly taking advantage of this publicity, although narcissistic tendencies may be playing a large role in this too for them.

Can someone fill me in on how they adopted their current daughter? Today I heard the smiths say that they needed to be approved by the state for their adoption process... I assume they mean their home study? This should have already been done when they adopted their first daughter, correct?

I hope it backfires in their faces. Their words and behaviors have influenced me in the opposite direction from their supposed intention. I will NEVER buy their book...(no matter how curious I am, LOL) this bunch won't get a dime from me. I am least fond of liars and manipulators.

Is there a connection to San Antonio? I hope so too, but if there isn't a later ad, I doubt it - can you check how long those types of ads stay up on CL (depends on what section it was listed under). I think ads like that are ran all the time so what makes you think this one sticks out?

I agree, what is in it for this reporter to feed the Smiths information? Weird. Hopefully, Yami got the info about the babysitter from LE because they had already talked to her. But why does she keep giving J&T information. Their 15 minutes were up a long time ago as far as I'm concerned. I found this interesting statement about who I presume is Yami from the Smiths first appearance on NG:

The date Nov. 15, 2009 is what makes it stick out to me and the fact that it ran for such a short period of time. I do understand that the as could ave been pulled by craigslist but then again it could also have been removed by the couple because the purpose was fulfilled.
