Darrell Allen and his wife went to bed on Tuesday evening. A little before 10 p.m., his wife awoke to find him gone. Family has not seen him since.

The family told KOMU he has dementia and is in a Chevy S-10 with license plate number 692-LR2.

Allen is 6'2" and weighs 175 pounds. He was last seen in Macon, wearing a dark blue plaid flannel shirt, blue slacks and tennis shoes.

MACON, MO. -- A Macon man missing since last Tuesday was found dead Sunday in rural Macon County.

A citizen found 74-year-old Darrell Allen's body along Normandale Rd. in southeast Macon County around 1:30 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Allen's 2000 Chevrolet truck was discovered a short time later stuck in the mud on Omega St. about a mile away.
