EUGENE, Ore. -- A Eugene man was reported missing early Thursday evening from his foster home for adult males at 22nd and Chambers.
Eugene Police say 61-year-old Timothy Rardin is reported to have some mental disabilities that cause him to often become confused and have memory issues. They say he is in good physical shape, has never been violent while at the foster home, and has not made prior attempts to leave the foster home.
Rardin does not have family in Eugene, but does have family in the Medford area. Rardin often tells people that he is lives in Nevada and is reported to not have any known friends in the Eugene area.
Rardin was last seen wearing green/gray plaid jacket, black shirt, and gray pants. He has brown hair and blue eyes. Rardin may now have a long gray beard.

Thank you for your concern and follow up. I have looked into this record and it appears that Mr. Rardin was located on the next evening (1/30/11) and as far as I can tell remains safe.
