Here is the Google Earth of Strollaway Road.

I can't imagine that the bones would have been there for very long. Strollaway road is very short and there are 6 residences along the way. One would think that the residents of those houses would have taken a walk through that area at some point in the last couple of years.

Bodies are not as obvious as people think they are. A couple of years ago, remains were found near here in a ditch beside a busy road, in a place where a dozen people a day walk their dogs. The police estimated she could have been there up to six months.

Videos & Photos of the Wylie Remains Found
Police have released chopper video of the search and recovery of the remains as well as photos of the scene. It is easy to see why the remains were not found earlier based on the terrain.

I looked at the Google Earth shot of the location that corresponds to the helicopter footage, to see if the body was possibly there when the Google Earth shot was taken.
I can't see anything that looks like a body in the shot, but it would be difficult to see if it was there.

One interesting thing though. On street view, a couple of utility trucks are parked right at the spot where one would access that area from York Road.
