Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with locating a missing 25-year-old woman.

Navdeep Kaur was last seen on August 22, 2022 at 06:30 a.m., at a residence in the 6700-block of 150 Street. Police and family are concerned for Navdeep’s wellbeing as they have been unable to make contact with her.

Navdeep is described as a South Asian female, 5’5, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes. Navdeep was last seen wearing a black zippered hoodie, black backpack and black and white VANS brand shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Navdeep is asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502, or Crime Stoppers, if they wish to remain anonymous, at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca.

''Missing person investigation in Surrey leads to IHIT deployment​

IHIT has taken conduct of a missing person investigation that began in February 2024.

Background: On February 23, 2024, Navdeep Kaur, 28, of Surrey, was reported missing by her family, to the Surrey RCMP. After an extensive investigation by the Surrey RCMP’s Missing Persons Unit, evidence was collected that has led investigators to believe that Ms. Kaur may be a victim of foul play. As a result, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken conduct of the investigation and will be working closely in partnership with the Surrey RCMP, the Integrated Forensic Identification Section and the BC Coroners Service to advance the investigation.
Navdeep Kaur was last seen on February 22, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. in the 7800-block of 123 Street, in Surrey. She is described as 28-years-old, South Asian, 5’5, 125lbs, with long black hair, and brown eyes.
Investigators are working to learn as much as possible about Navdeep, and her movements leading up to her disappearance on February 22, says Corporal Esther Tupper of IHIT. We’re asking anyone who has had recent contact with Navdeep, or anyone with information, to please call IHIT immediately.''
