Circumstances of Recovery On April 11, 1976, the decomposed remains of a male individual were recovered from the water in Port Arthur Marina in the Thunder Bay Harbor. His post mortem weight was recorded as being 170-180 lbs, however, this may not represent his actual weight due to post mortem changes noted at autopsy. His pockets contained a red handkerchief, pipe for smoking, book of matches and a broken pencil. It is believed he had been in the water since the fall of 1975.
