Thursday, Sept. 21st:
*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 9am CT) – IN - Cairo Ammar Jordan (5) was found about 7:30pm Saturday night, April 16, 2022 by a mushroom hunter in the heavily wooded area of Washington County off a dead-end road, 80 ft. from a roadway inside a suitcase with a distinctive Las Vegas design on the front & back near the town of New Pekin. May have died within the last week. He was identified on October 26, 2022. He would have turned 6 on 10/23/22. – *Dawn Elaine Coleman (40/now 41) arrested (in S.F. on 10/19/22) & charged (10/26/22) with 1st degree neglect of a dependent resulting in death & obstruction of justice & additional charge of aiding, inducing or causing murder. Was extradited from CA to IN (10/26/22). $5M cash bond. 12/28/22 Judge changed to NO bond.
Trial set to begin on 1/23/24. (2 week trial)
Jury will be selected from Harrison County & tried in Washington County. Judge Larry W. Medlock presiding. Defense attorney Ryan Bowers.

Motion In Limine sounds right but I don't see where one has been filed. However I only did a word search so maybe I will go back and re-read all the entries. I wonder if Prop is proposal?

Please note that this is OLD news. I'm posting as it's the first I saw of a video of the 3 of them, with Dejuane being arrested for speeding (which has been discussed upthread). Oddly, she doesn't tell the officer his name is Cairo, even though asked twice. Jordan the first time (his middle name) and Jason Jordan the 2nd time. It's so sad to hear the little darling "I lost my toys". :(

And I have to wonder why she was speeding, because it was for darn sure not why she told the officer (we wanted to get to Georgia before we ran out of gas). Unless she doesn't know that speeding uses more gas!!! Your tank isn't on a time limit.
