Found Deceased Lashaun Collins Hattiesburg MS

In 2021, a 37-year-old Hattiesburg Woman by the name of Lashaun Collins left her home on East 3rd St to walk to Victory Church on the corner of Oak Street and East Hardy.
Unfortunately, loved ones would later find out that she never made it to services. Her body would later be found at Duncan Lake and the case ruled a homicide.
Media coverage and updates were scant then and nothing new has been released publicly since 2021.
You will never convince me that on a Sunday morning in the hood around church time, that no one saw anything. People need to step up and speak. This is not like the movies. They aren’t looking for who killed Lashaun Collins.
She will live rent free in my head and on my heart until she gets justice.
She was just walking to church.
