Circumstances of Disappearance
The missing person was a passenger on TAG Airlines Flight 730 which departed the Cleveland, Ohio Burke Lakefront Airport at approximately 07:38 hours e.s.t. on 1/28/1970. The airplane was in route to Detroit City Airport with two crew members and seven passengers on board. The aircraft's beacon target disappeared from the Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center's radar at 07:49. It was later determined the aircraft had crashed into Lake Erie. The aircraft was destroyed and potions of it sank in 80 feet of water. The bodies of five passengers and two crew members were recovered and identified. The remaining two passengers are missing and presumed dead.

There seems to be very little about James on the internet. In one article, his family is asking if there have been any unidentified bodies found in Lake Erie since 1970. They are trying to find him and bring him home.

Details of Disappearance
Wilson was last seen in Cleveland, Ohio on January 28, 1970. He was a passenger on TAG Airlines Flight 730, which departed the Burke Lakefront Airport at 7:38 a.m., en route to the Detroit City Airport, with two crew members and seven passengers (including Wilson) aboard.

The plane disappeared from radar at 7:49; it was later determined to have crashed into Lake Erie. The plane was destroyed in the crash and parts of it sunk in eighty feet of water. The bodies of the crew and five of the seven passengers were recovered, but Wilson's body and one other passenger's have never been found.

Information and photos for the other missing passenger are unavailable. Both of them are presumed drowned.

The missing man, James Hugh Wilson was buried as an unidentified, John Doe in Leamington, Ontario, Canada, for 51 years.
He was missing after an airplane crash, into Lake Erie, in January 28/ 1970, TAG Airlines Flight 730.
His body was exhumed and identified through DNA. There are a few articles where he is referred to as Point Pelee John Doe as this is where his unidentified remains washed up on shore March 29/1970.
Point Pelee National Park is located in Southwestern Ontario near Leamington, Ontario, Canada.
