Has it ever been determined who procured the red rope and when? Many thanks!

Sheriff Gore state they conducted a complete investigation and to this day he can only assume where it came from. Complete my *advertiser censored*, they did not pull Adam's credit card or even his cell phone records. They do not have a clue where the rope came from only a guess.
