Remains identified as Dean A. Ford (31). He may have resided on the Reservation at the time. Unknown when he went missing.

"According to a release from the Menominee Tribal Police Department, officers first found the human remains on October 30, 2023, when a hunter came across the remains in a rural wooded area"

 
Article from when they first found the body. Appear to have been there 5-10 years.

The Menominee County Medical Examiner’s Office also confirmed the remains appear to be 5 to 10 years old and the remains did not match two missing males in Menominee County.

 
A descendant of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, Ford has been missing since July of 2018.

Human Remains Identified as Menominee Tribal Descendant
KESHENA, WI- Menominee Tribal Police have announced the human skeletal remains located on the Menominee Indian Reservation on October 30, 2023 have been positively identified as Dean A. Ford (DOB 04/25/1992) through DNA testing and dental records.
The Menominee Indian Tribe extends our heartfelt condolences to the family of Ford during this difficult time.
A descendant of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, Ford has been missing since July of 2018.
It is suspected that Ford was residing either on the Menominee Indian Reservation or in Shawano at the time of his disappearance. Ford had connections with individuals in Shawano and on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
The Menominee Tribal Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) are actively looking into this case as a potential homicide.
No further information is available at this time.
