I saw a mention in a YouTube comment to a "sinister cat" drawn on the carpet next to Patsy's paint tote.

So I looked up the crime scene photograph and noticed the cat: http://www.acandyrose.com/178paint-tote.jpg

Then I looked around but was surprised to find no discussion of it anywhere.

Am I the only one who finds the cat intriguing?

It could have nothing to do with the murder. But then is it a coincidence that the RN refers to cats and there happens to be a cat drawn on the carpet next to the paint tote?

Does anyone have any thoughts on the cat?

I don’t see a cat painted anywhere in that image.

Pareidolia. Could just be a faint imprint left over from the bottom of a paint can when they were remodeling.

Could be pareidolia. But it looks too small to be an imprint from a paint can.

Paint cans come in various sizes, from 1-2 gallons down to a 1/2 pint.

I don't see any cat on that picture... much less a sinister one (how would a sinister cat look like anyway?).

Please note that if there were a cat on the carpet, it would have been discussed and picked apart for years. Nonstop. It would be everywhere.
The D.A.'s investigator, James Kolar, who had access to all the evidence and wrote a book, did not discuss a cat drawn on the carpet.
There is no cat on the carpet.
