Well, The most recent MP cases in the area are in November. So this sounds family/domestic related and too recent.
I hope they catch those sorry suckerfishs that did this though. It's Just Sick. JMHO

Speculation

If it's one body it sounds like he was too heavy to carry from the place he died, assuming one wants to dispose of a body. In the military we were trained in what's known as the dead mans carry, it's not real easy to pick someone off the ground. 3/4 bags = less weight without being more graphic. IMO

The stories mention the bag found at the entrance ramp to I-94, that may indicate a direction of travel.

IMO It sounds like a domestic to me.

This reminds me of the Long Island serial killer. In my opinion I think these are multiple victims. Dismemberment is a real detector of a serial killer. I lived in Michigan all my life where those bags were found wilderness is very abundant Why not in the woods where it may have taken years to find. This guy wanted the attention. He's either toying with police and there are more victims, or he wants to be caught.

Hmmm, now I'm confused... I just watched our local Channel 4 (NBC) WDIV news and the reporter said that the newest bag found on/near the I-94 ramp (not at the original multiple bags found on Allington Rd.) DID have remains. I don't have a link, just saw it on the news. In a previous article I quoted, they made it sound like there might be a connection, but not that there were remains - just clothing and charred documents.

I'm wondering if the BP on Fred Moore (at the 94 Exit) has surveillance cameras. They would be the only ones from the exit to where the remains were found, in this rural area, to have video surveillance.

ETA:
I believe that Allington Road (at Fred Moore) to the ramp for I-94 is about 1 1/2 miles. Easy enough to get off, dump, turn around, and return, dumping another bag on the ramp as they leave... I'm thinking they're not local to St. Clair and came from one of the bigger cities to the south of us (Detroit, Roseville, New Baltimore, Mt. Clemens)...

Pretty Rural, Im doubting business cameras, maybe traffic cameras on 94 hopefully. Hopefully a witness may come forward. They had to have stopped for a moment someone had to have drive by. Guess we'll have to wait to see if there's a connection or not with the two.

Lot of snow and drifting in Michigan right now. Many secondary roads have not been plowed, much less access to wilderness areas.

I tried googling and could not find this, but there is a guy from the midwest who won some money at a casino and then went missing. Can't remember his name or race. Anybody remember him?

Didn't even think about that, but in the road? there's got to be better places than that, unless they just ditched really fast, to dispose of them as fast as they could quickly pushed out of the car anywhere.

Unfortunately, it sounds to me like some woman "got rid" of her husband. He may not even be reported missing yet. So sad!

Stories like this are why bags and boxes on the sides of the road skeeve me out.

Me too! I find myself looking at bags on the side of the road/freeway to see if they are shaped like a body or are big enough to hold a body.

Surely this is a newly murdered person, because who could have a decomposing body around for long?? But the whole thing is strange, so who knows? I don't know if somebody would want to drive on a slippery road with bags of parts in the car. So it may be a person closer to that town. Big black bags on the snow is not clear thinking. If I was doing this, I would not put them all near each other either. Good grief. I'm thinking like a killer!

Part of trying to solve a case involves "getting into the killers head" and "thinking like a killer".

You are right, but I creeped myself out for a minute. I usually try to think "what would I do?", but the whole thing is just so bizarre!

Or a freezer.

Well this is nasty:

http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/reports-of-possible-body-parts-found-in-garbage-bags-in-st-clair

Officials received a call from a passerby Thursday afternoon who looked inside the bags that were along Fred Moore Highway and Allington Road and then called police.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...mped-snow-trash-bags-rural-road-Michigan.html

Officers say two witnesses saw a heavy-set woman throwing the trash bags from a 1990s white or grey SUV, possibly a Chevy Blazer or GMC Jimmy, yesterday afternoon.

Good thoughts about not wanting a decomposing body around for long, so it must be a newly murdered (possibly not reported missing) male, but I don't feel that it's a local, but that's just my own personal opinion because of the following:

The other bag found on/near the 94 freeway ramp toward Detroit suggests to me that someone came from south of St. Clair, got off at St. Clair exit #257, drove 1/2 mile or more east on Fred Moore Hwy, dumped the bags on Allington in what was a wooded area (though in daylight amazes me!) and then turned around and went back to I-94 heading south/west (toward Detroit) where the second bag was disposed.

Again, this is JMO based on the locations of the bags discovered and being familiar with the area.

I'll bet you're right!!
