OK OK - Molly Miller, 17, & Colt Haynes, 21, Wilson, 7 Jul 2013 - #2

Wow!!! I hope one of them talks. Supposedly, one of them is CN's aunt. Is the guy the aunt's boyfriend?

Yes, she is Con's aunt and she works for the wife of the assistant DA of Love and Carter Counties. She was involved in the phone calls, along with Con, Sabrina and Con's mom, the morning Colt and Molly vanished.

The other fellow mentioned by the PI as a POI is her boyfriend, from what I understand. His name has come up several times on the OFMM page.

Molly's brother said he was watching the family search:

And he turned up during another search:

And Molly's cousin PMF said he was willing to go on the Dr. Phil show if Con would, buried deep in the comments here:

She also said he's Con's uncle. And he's dating Con's aunt?

Multiple state and federal law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation on Long Hollow Road, but information on the focus of the probe remains hush-hush.

Unconfirmed reports indicate Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, FBI, and U.S. Marshals are on the scene.

Capt. Ronnie Hampton, commander Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop F headquartered in Ardmore, confirmed early today, multiple agencies were on the scene. “An investigation started late Tuesday on Longhollow Road and I anticipate it will continue for several days,” Hampton said.

Haven't posted here lately but have been following... Hoping & praying they're finally getting somewhere to bring resolution to the families of Molly & Colt.

OkieGranny: Thank you so much for keeping this thread and all of us updated. YOU ROCK!!!

Wednesday, a District Attorney requested that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation open a full investigation in the disappearance of a couple in south-central Oklahoma, according to OSBI...

District Attorney Craig Ladd requested that the OSBI investigate the disappearance and possible homicide of Molly Miller, 17, and Colt Haynes, 21...

Recent leads surfaced that could be helpful in this case... Agents from OSBI and various other law enforcement officers are currently running those leads.

Finally! Hopefully justice will be forthcoming. I haven't posted on this thread, but I've been keeping up. Being a mom of daughters, this one hits me where it hurts. Praying they can find out what really happened to them.

This has been the most interesting case to me that I have seen on websleuths and I really hope the families get closure one day -- sooner the better ---. I really appreciate the updates OkieGranny. I forget the names of people too easily and I can't find a lot of cases to follow up if they turned out positively (as they can) or not. It always surprises me that this case didn't get as much attention as it should have. Just breaks my heart thinking about these two. I'm glad to see things moving again... let's see how it goes.

I'm really surprised Conn's mother was not named a POI. The swift movement on the case is great news though!

I agree. The more we learned, it seems like she had a bigger role than what we originally thought, but I guess not. And I'm actually kind of surprised Sabrina wasn't listed. With the insurance claim and it being her car and all. I guess maybe she really just was involved with the wrong people at the wrong time.

And I agree with everyone else, thank you so very much OkieGranny for all the updates.

I think the flurry of phone calls is very telling and she was involved but they just don't have more evidence on her than the phone calls IMO. JMO MOO

Taking the lead of a search for a Wilson teen and her boyfriend, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday acknowledged the grim outlook of the couple’s year-old disappearance, calling it a possible double-homicide...

OSBI had a mobile command unit in the Love and Carter county area Wednesday as part of a multi-agency law enforcement investigation...

Law enforcement agencies last month collected evidence in the rural area of Love County where Nipp’s family lives. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Capt. Ronnie Hampton said numerous stolen cars were recovered. “People said they were threatened by armed people as they traveled that road,” Hampton said.

I wonder if local LE will finally be investigated?

Steve Tanner, an agent with OSBI said, "The lead that we are following was initiated by other law enforcement officers that are also looking for the missing people"...

The US Marshals, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the FBI and several other agencies are combing private property at the end of the road.

Philip Klein, a private investigator hired by Miller's family, announced he and his team have identified three persons of interest: Colby Barrick, Jennifer Nipp, and Conn Nipp who is in custody of the Department of Corrections in Oklahoma.

Thanks for all the updates Okiegranny.

I hope they can uncover something that helps this case.

Also, Some serious questions need asked to the original LE as to why they stopped the pursuit in the first place as well as why there seemed to be little to no action taken at all as far as investigating the missing people.

“My belief is that it's a simple homicide. I believe a fight ensued,” says Philip Klein, private investigator. “I believe both young people were shot and killed. I believe they were drug up to the top of a hill. I believe they were buried somewhere out there near Long Hollow Road.”

Philip Klein tells News 9 that new witnesses are coming forward daily with tips. The constant flow of new information is allowing his team to make quick progress and turn findings over to law enforcement. Klein warns people not to jump to conclusions about law enforcement investigators and the slow progress that was being made before the last couple of months.

“Everyone was lying because everyone was trying to protect Conn Nipp. And you know, that's what started this thing.”
