Casey's Ghost Writer Breaks His Silence ...

^^^ my pleasure!

IMO, since CA and CM are the last ones standing, I think they each "have" something on the other one. and IMO what CA "has" on CM is that she told him she killed Caylee, which would make him liable for sanctions (at the very least) re how he conducted the defense of a client he knew was guilty. the bankruptcy fraud investigation will be verrrry interesting. with the revelations in this book I don't think the public will tolerate less than a whole lot of answers

and AFAIK it's still *crickets* from CM

I have no problem if a defense lawyer does not want to know of his client’s guilt or innocence. I do hate the fact that CM is getting away with lying so he can make money on his stupid book. During an interview after the trial, he said with his own mouth, that he knew what happened but couldn’t say. What a crock. And now he is saying she is innocent. How would he know that if he has never asked a client if they were guilty? He is a lying, liar, mcliarson.

Imo, it's part a set up for casey's big reveal in her upcoming true life story. He's made several comments like this, and in the same breath there's mention of fca having a story, and will eventually tell it... It just seems too weird, with the way he's almost promoting her, that they're not involved with, and profiting from, each others books. This goes back to jbaez's book, and all the oddities discussed then too. All considered, including jbaez's silence right now, I'm sticking by my thoughts that there's some pact/blackmail with these guys, beyond and including their books...

I wonder how many of those answers we're entitled to getting though. Unfortunately, the best answers, regarding the trustee's "investigation" into the previous reports of fraud that we were privy to knowing, came from the report Watkins submitted for compensation. And with that we didn't get any answers, but were just able to deduce by (1) the amount of contact made (hardly any), (2) to whom (uhm, jbaez), and (3) by the lack of subpoenas/documents/records, etc, that there was very little effort made in regards to an investigation into fraud, if any at all. A phone call or email to jbaez isn't what most of us consider an investigation. Especially when jbaez is believed to have been part of the fraud ... And those answers didn't even come until just before they tried to wrap up the case... I hope that we are updated to what's going on, and what, if any, progress is being made with the new information. But because that won't come internally, we will only know if an insider or witness shares it with us, or by keeping an eye on the docket for any new related filings, ie, subpoenas, etc... So, that's going to be very interesting to see what shows up in the coming weeks. We will, at the very least, know if they're taking the right steps for an appropriate investigation...

exactly. I should have worded it better. that's what I meant by answers: finding out that her BK will not be discharged as originally filed (Chapter 7 - liquidation of debt), and/or that she will be required to re-file the more appropriate BK (Chapter 11 - installment payment of debt). AND/OR that federal fraud charges have been initiated (be still, my heart)

I hope Casey mooches off of Cheney for the rest of her miserable life .
I am so glad someone brought up Lauren Gibbs at the beginning of this thread ...she is the one that took care of Caylee when she was just little and mommy was out having fun . Everything in Caylee's room was bought by Cindy ..Casey didn't have any money and what money she stole from her parents, grandparents and friends went to her $400 a month phone bills ..not her little girl .

I totally agree with what you were saying, I always agree with your posts gramcracker! I just hate how that whole investigation into her bk fraud went down, or lack thereof... And I will be fuming if they give her a pass again... At the very least, I hope Watkins and Meininger realize the public will be expecting to see more effort put into this investigation, and are aware that we'll be scrutinizing everything they'll be filing...So, hopefully this time around they realize their records need to reflect some actual work being done. There's too many that know this case well, and know what should done for it to be a complete, thorough investigation... The records Watkins turned in were unacceptable. Prior to him turning those in, we were blind to what exactly they were doing behind the scenes, we had no idea how little investigating they'd actually done into the fraud charges.... They should know that this time around we have much different expectations. No last minute filing for compensation, with minimal work done, just so you close it up and collect what you can out of it. This fraud, perpetrated in federal court, is not something we want to see just set aside because it's complicated and the ones managing it are more concerned about their profit... Furthermore, I don't care how the pay structure/incentives are set up for Bankruptcy Trustees, I care about the laws, and how they're enforced... And she broke the law, many times over... urgh!

Kindle sales are over 100, which means I made enough to pay for about an hour of attorney time. No problem. It's important to spread the word, keep Casey from cashing in and get a prosecution.

Yes, we have the same goal Rick! We all know what she's trying to get away with and I really hope you can get some of the folks you mentioned, HLN, People magazine, etc, on board! I don't know what you've been advised on, as far as it being part of an investigation, but, if you could get a copy of all the tapes to Steve Helling from People or Nancy Grace, I bet they'd run the story. Both have viewers/readers who would be very interested in seeing Casey Anthony get what she deserves... CNN, that's a different story, I'm surprised you've gotten anywhere with them  ... Thx for popping in...

RickN has been verified.

RickN, Thank you for joining and welcome. I bought your kindle book and found it to be a very good book to read. My question is that in the book there is a statement from Cheney that Casey will do what he tells her (paraphrased) because she owes him for past and future legal fees. Do you have this statement on tape?

Hi Rick!
Just wanted to tell you I enjoyed the book!
Did you get the feeling Cheney was getting sick of supporting Casey financially/putting her up/etc? I hope so! And I hope she's sick of him but they're stuck!

OK. IMO we're gonna need a thread to talk about this. heads-up for kindle readers: the book is not indexed and there is no search function; bookmark/highlight as you go, so you can find things later

wow. read this book. support this author. IMO the publication date was set to coincide with CM's book, to counteract and piggyback on CM's version of events. good move

from the book: CM's decision to come aboard only as second chair was a calculated move. as first chair, JB would be blamed if she was convicted. CM as second chair still benefited from the acquittal because it was well known that his experience outweighed JB's. Scotland and New Zealand have a third category of verdict: Not Proven. which makes clear that the jury does not view an acquitted defendant as innocent. (I'm all in favor of adding that to our system but will it happen? not in our lifetime)

from the book: there was a non-disclosure agreement. but a contract which serves to further the commission of a crime (bankruptcy fraud) is not legally binding

from the book: IMO CM is big-time infatuated with her. he describes her: she's tiny. her tiny hands are smaller than his big ol' paws. she's demure. he likes her rack (his exact term)

can't read any more tonight, it's getting late/early. bummer ...

I just ordered Rick's book, can't wait to read it. Regarding the bold above CM "likes her rack" ? .... Ugh, dirty old man. :puke:

somehow that remark didn't surprise me! :silly:

It really sux having knowledge of all her wrongdoings, and have to just sit and watch her get away with it... Knowing, from the depths of my soul, that she murdered Caylee. And so much more... And now she thinks that just because she got away with murder, she should be entitled to everyone bowing down to her and worshiping her as some victim who deserves not only society's admiration, but complete forgiveness for the despicable human being that she is, and overlook all the horrific facts about her that came out in the evidence. Before and after Caylee's death...She (and cm) treat that verdict like it's some magical wand, that erases everything and requires us to all have to rejoice in her innocence... She's just really too dense and in love with herself to realize there's nothing in the world that could give her a clean slate. There's no magical book, or movie about her, or story she could come up with, or group of twelve people's ridiculous opinion that will accomplish that... She really thought she could kill Caylee, lie about it, and the world would say okay, forget and move on.... She will always be hated and recognized as the cold blooded murderer of Caylee. And I'm sure it's eating her alive that people won't just forget about that dumb kid of hers and let her resume her new life. Can you imagine the pity parties?...... But, nobody cares how bad she wants to go to the beauty salon, or McDonald's, or to the damn Walmart to snatch up some of their beer and push-up bras...

ETA... Slightly O/T rant... This was the most relevant place to post it... Miss the sidebar!:please:
