I love that Robert McCulloch is winning so far for worst. I'm gonna agree with that one. He presented defense evidence to a grand jury. Lol...what? Why are you presenting this case if you don't even want an indictment?

Anyway...

We may get nailed for getting off topic (though they are lenient when no testimony), but I figured he did this because he knew there was zero chance of winning a conviction and thought there was no sense in having it go to trial, which would have been 100x more of a circus than the grand jury business was.

Some accused him of hiding behind the grand jury. If he had no case, he shouldn't have brought one. (Of course he'd have been crucified had be done that.) Maybe he was acting more nefariously than this, but I think he made a mistake by starting the grand jury right off the bat, when it wasn't until later when actual witnesses were interviewed and autopsy results came back that the true story began to emerge. At that point it was too late to NOT bring it, but at the same time there's no point in indicting a ham sandwich when you have absolutely no chance of convicting it.

CMJA's defense team should be sanctioned for those "sexual" statements regarding Juan and Flores ... totally inappropriate and uncalled for.

Trial resumes Monday morning, and is scheduled thru Thursday, but I have NO doubt this will certainly change.

And I agree that next week will probably be the last week until the new year.

First I've heard that the DP will probably be off the table, unless of course it was MK who says that. But I've not heard that. I don't think what DT has presented has amounted to a brady violation that would require drastic relief.

This Maria woman is not only vulgar and desperate but she seems to be not all together right in the head... to identify with a cold-blooded criminal...:scared: I could try and muster up some pity for people like her but I have no time for that!
And just like her BFF, she thinks she's god's gift to men. Who do they think they are? Angelina Jolie? Speaking of Angelina there was a rumour a few months ago that Arias wants Angelina to portray her in a movie. Arias compares her own intelligence to Einstein's, was excited at the thought of her painting hanging next to a Van Gogh and now thinks she looks like Angelina? Deluded is putting it lightly. :lol:

The Evidentiary Hearing finally finished yesterday afternoon with oral arguments, and we are waiting on JSS's ruling -- so no telling how long that will take.


I am not as "computer-techy savvy" like many of the good sleuthers here at WS are, so hopefully one of them can give an update on the computer issues from yesterday's hearing.


Nurmi's "prosecutorial misconduct" argument was about as low as you can go ... it was sickening that he was even allowed to bash Juan like that ! :gaah:


And loved it when Juan exposed the mitigation specialist's shenanigans on Twitter as "Cougarlicious" or whatever she calls herself, as well as Juan exposed that the mitigation specialist was leaking info to Michael Kiefer !
