Retrial for Sentencing of Jodi Arias - 1/9-1/12 Break

There was a full day and then an interrupted day after that week? I can double check. BK was so sure it was one day only I'd be surprised.....

There was Oct. 30, a Thursday, where she only got out a couple hours out because there was a witness before her and Novemeber 3rd, the next Monday. Full court day.Then the stay came down.

IMO The defendant could come up with a heck of a lot- and did- wether she was just getting started and was thwarted by the media's intervention remains to be seen, but I think this time around she was going to leave NO questions in this new jury's mind as to mitigation.

She will do ANYTHING (again, IMO) to not be sentenced to death. Her Achilles heel- for whatever reason. I am beginning to think that the reason is nothing more than her REPUTATION- she does NOT want to be a convicted murderer, on death row. She knows damn well she will never be put to death and she would probably prefer to be separated from other female inmates- we all know how she feels about other women.

I think her secret testimony will shock even me- and I am thinking it was pretty bad.

It will be interesting to see if she pre-empts the testimony to her minions. That will say a lot to me.

I could be totally wrong but I don't think so.

Bring on those transcripts. If I wasn't in California I would be driving to the courthouse myself today. I thought a lot about a visit to Phoenix this weekend but my littlest one is in a soccer tournament this weekend and next (last weekend too)!

No. Nov. 3 there was no court in AM. Attys went to argue at COA, were gone between 9ish and were on way back at 11:30. The stay came at 2:30 that same day. If she testified it could only have been after lunch till 2:30ish.

For some reason I don't recall that at all, shouldn't be surprised I suppose, this trial is making me lose brain cells left and right.

That's weird. Why am I remembering that there was additional testimony on Monday before the stay came in, where the media had to hang out in the hall way? Didn't she get to testify after the COA hearing a little bit then?

No. Nov. 3 there was no court in AM. Attys went to argue at COA, were gone between 9ish and were on way back at 11:30. The stay came at 2:30 that same day. If she testified it could only have been after lunch till 2:30ish.

I thought I read the exact dates and times that JSS ordered the transcript to be prepared for. Does anyone else remember that? I think it was only about 3 hours worth, if that.

Ok I was misremembering about there being a full day on Nov 3rd. I do remember there being testimony on that Monday though and this order confirms there was so she must have gotten some testimony in.

Checked BK chronology for Nov 3. She says the media was in hallway after returning from COA (lunch isn't mentioned). Attys and jurors were seen leaving courtroom by 2:45 ish. Doors opened to all at 3:15ish.
