We court watchers would have NO need to search for the secret data expert’s identity IF JSS did not permit him to testify in secret. The blame for this fiasco rest solely on this judge. And that’s the point. A judge should be impartial and Sherry IMO is not. I feel like JA has 3 lawyers representing her in court, not 2.

Hope you can find AZ lawyer's post. I'd really like to see it.

I apologize, I guess I was wrong! I thought I remembered reading that if the Judge was somehow removed (for impropriety, I suppose) that it would be a mistrial. I should have paid closer attention... I would have saved myself a good deal of unnecessary stress! Some sleuther I am!

ETA Not too long ago, someone was mentioning a phone number (it wasn't here) to call and complain about JSS. Along with other posts I got a bit worried. My bad!

I think the point people were making about "teen *advertiser censored*" was that, on the Internet, what's labeled as "teen *advertiser censored*" is actually young adult *advertiser censored* (18+).

That seems extremely hypothetical but again I don't see what difference it would make. Another judge would continue the trial.

I wish another judge would. To be clear, I don't for a second think that JSKS is "pro-defense," is trying for a mistrial, or has feelings for anyone involved besides the victim. I don't think she has a "secret" agenda. But I think she's lost control of her courtroom at this point. She's gone way beyond caution, IMO. I think it's a perfect storm: narcissistic defendant who absolutely won't accept her fate, angry defense attorney determined to toss anything and everything at the wall to see if *something* sticks (since they won't let him off the case with the defendant from hell) and judge who's not confidant enough to control her courtroom. Another judge might be just the ticket at this point, if it wouldn't cause any more significant delays. MOO, IMO, yadda yadda.

But, there was a specific note by the judge in the minute entries two or three days ago that were posted upstream specifically addressing that day. Would these times be testimony or sidebars? Looks like not much will be in transcripts either way. I'm wondering if these sealings are SEPARATE from the testimony.. and are sidebars which are mentioned?

I just checked the BK site and your right on with the side bars and during time when she was hearing about the objection for motion in limine. You all are amazing sleuths, it's just awesome to be part of this great community when people aren't bashing each other. Sorry if that offends anyone because I know exactly what it is like to get so emotional over all these "wrongs" done to Travis, his family, the PT, the media and the whole justice system for that matter, but hopefully this fiasco will be over soon and we will be laughing and crying with each other as we watch them haul her a$$ off to Perryville

I do believe CMJA has some input as to what her minions are saying, and I think she does this thru her BFF [mitigation specialist], maybe another person ... passing notes in and out of the courtroom !

She incites these people, they post "about" her, spread her lies and rhetoric, and if it were ever brought up by the Prosecution, Nurmi gets to say (with a smug smile on his face), 'Your Honor, how can my client post online? She can't control what total strangers post to Social Media, can she? Yet another false accusation by the evil Media/"haters."'

I'm personally more horrified by the fact that someone else tweets these things *for* her than if she tweeted them herself. We know she's a narcissistic murderer, so nothing she says or does should shock at this point. What does it say about people willing to say these things for her?
