MO Shoplifter ditches stolen boots outside mall w note identifying self
"Keisha L. Wilkes stuffed a pair of UGG men's boots into a handbag Dec. 17 at the St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield and
left the store without paying, police say. For some reason, Wilkes left the handbag in the parking lot outside and left.
"Police found the boots inside the bag. Also in the bag, police found a note from the state probation and parole board office reminding Wilkes of an upcoming appointment, because she was on probation after twice pleading guilty to theft charges in 2011 and 2013.
"Surveillance video from the store showed Wilkes stealing the boots, police said.
"So when Wilkes showed up for her appointment with her probation officer, the police showed up, too, and arrested her for the latest theft.
"Wilkes, of the 3XXX block of Texas Avenue in St. Louis, was charged Friday with felony stealing, her third offense. She was ordered held on a $12,500 bail."

BTW,
1st theft = cash envelope from safe at fast food restaurant where she worked.
2nd theft = stuffing several purses into plastic bags at clothing store, when caught outside store,
told LE her getaway driver did not show. (Nothing like admitting premeditation)
