I understand what you are saying and I don't want to have tunnel vision. But I cannot rule out someones past history. And to me, 'rabbit hole' means a weird tangent that is not relevant. And I think the rabbit hole we are exploring is relevant and on point, sadly enough.

Always a big mistake to let yourself have this tunnel vision. HOWEVER, that being said, when the old Hinky Meter is screaming so loud deaf people in Siberia are hearing it, it's kinda-sorta hard to ignore it. KWIM?

So if the neighbor seen the white car pass by then why no gender and race and somewhat age description of the driver? Since he was right there he should have been able to say something about the driver. Especially since he was able to notice AJ driving with a purpose.

Also, I think it's telling that WH said the neighbor "recognized" the white car go by...instead of saying "saw" the white car go by. This seems to me to say that he knew who the car belongs to.

I think his POI is a friend or old bf, if they feel the same person sent the text messages.

And the word 'followed' was odd, since it was a minute behind her. You can't follow someone if you are that far behind them. The white car had to know where she was going.

If it was a premeditated kidnapping it would not make sense to park your car in the driveway in broad daylight. So the white car confuses me.

We know nothing about the neighbor really, could it be possible the neighbor did something to her. The last time she was seen was by the neighbor.

Humm I'm not sure that it is WH. I can't get past the kid that says he saw AJ (he says they saw each other which I think he looked right at her face.) He saw her departing the neighborhood around 1:00 and then saw her return again around 2 which is when he said driving with purpose and not herself (was that because this time it wasn't her driving the truck?) It's mentioned the first time the kids saw her that they saw each other but not that when the truck returns to the neighborhood. This could mean that maybe he could not say he saw the face of the actual driver. Then this kid says he saw a white car about a minute later. Now the neighbor the smokes supposedly saw a white car in the driveway right after 2pm behind her truck.

I think JH and WH didn't tell all the truths is because they didn't want their dirty laundry aired all over the tv, news and internet. Maybe there were some people that they didn't want to know they had separated possibly. Maybe JH was cheating and her and AJ got into a fight over it. Maybe that is why she felt more comfortable with going to WH for money. Maybe it was the mom that cut up the card. Maybe that is why JH is staying quiet. Maybe she had a boyfriend. Maybe that is why she texted her mom and said she wasn't ready to come home yet. Maybe we are looking at the wrong elephant in the house.

Still stuck on the "door key" comment (sorry, details matter, and this one has me seriously confused). I actually woke up this morning thinking about it, rolled over in bed, and randomly queried Hubby. "Hey, is there ANY scenario in which you would need 2 separate keys to a vehicle, one to open the door and one to start the ignition?". After looking at me like I'd grown an extra eye, he replied, "Well, if the truck was stolen at some point, I guess so. Or if it had maybe been in an accident and the door was replaced? Or....ummm....if at some point the ignition was replaced?".

Hmmmm. Okay, so this morning I go back to the transcript. WH is a word salad artiste, but he certainly SEEMS to be connecting both keys to the truck. Maybe he's NOT talking about the house key like I assumed. Maybe he's saying exactly what he appears to be saying, that he left the ignition key in the mailbox but not the key to unlock the truck door. If that's the case...it makes more sense, and it actually makes it easier to figure out what the heck WH is trying to tell us regarding the truck. He had to leave the vehicle unlocked, because hey, he didn't leave the door key and AJ had to be able to open the door in order to get in and start the truck. But then, why would this be an important detail to share? Maybe because LE has the truck? Maybe in case something odd was discovered, and that base needed to be covered?

(Hypothetical) "I didn't have the key to start the truck, but I did have the key to the door, and that's how I was able to get inside and look around after she went missing?"....that sort of thing, maybe?

Just rolling around in the speculation muck.

ETA: But then, that would mean that AJ would have to leave the truck unlocked in a parking lot if, say, she went to the mall to buy a GoPro or something. Would the owner of a vehicle lend out their vehicle knowing that the borrower would have to leave the truck unlocked? Especially when the door key was available, and could have easily been given to the borrower along with the ignition key?

Hi still catching up=
My husband said the same thing about having a separate key for the door the other day, but I didn't 'get' what the advantage to that would be to do such a thing. Plus it could have been missing for yrs already- still very curious.

When new members join, I think it takes them a bit to adjust to what it is we actually do here, and how we operate. We pick EVERYTHING apart in the hopes that something will be a bread crumb that leads us down an avenue of sleuthing. It's just how we work. Very often, this is how we arrive at facts before others do...because we aren't afraid to jump down a "rabbit hole" if a path leads us to it. Sometimes that pans out, sometimes it doesn't. But we don't just pick random "rabbit holes" and go off on blind fishing expeditions. We've been doing this for a VERY long time, and experience is the best teacher. :)

ETA: Pardon the mixed metaphors. LOL!

I think WH would have thrown him out as a POI. Along with the others. Remember they "love him". LE hasn't confirmed any witnesses. Personally, at this point I would need that.

I do believe a neighbor or two came forward. Hence the admission days later of the key drop off and Gas Station meeting. WH had to place himself in the vicinity because he was!

Like everyone, trying not to get tunnel vision but.....

Yeah I saw that. Interesting. Still nothing from her mom though. She is quiet as a church mouse.

That call was placed at 12:01 fact. It's now 4:03 no word back yet Fact.

There it goes again! Does he expect to be quizzed later? WTH?!

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

IMO The elephant is in the room trying to steer the conversation.

Does this type of thing happen often?

I could certainly be wrong. I don't think I am.

Just reading up and finished thread #1 and I'm on page 7 on here now. Does Anjelica have a piercing below her lower lip? I see something in her photos. Is it a mole? It is a good identifier too IMO.

Also, was her credit card/debit card found in two pieces? Were both pieces found together? If so, what a lucky find. Also, if only one piece was found, I suppose it was the part with her name on it to know it actually belonged to AJ. Lucky find regardless.

Yes, it is a mole. She also has one almost directly under that one on her upper chest.

We need to be really careful when repeating information coming from WH. We don't actually have any evidence that this kid said anything. We don't have it on record first-hand from the media, and we don't have a copy of the police report logging the interview or tip. What we do have is a video taken by the media showing a white car in the Hadsell driveway on the date of the taping that was obviously not suspicious (later cited to be WH brother's car).

From the podcast, quoted again by Chelsea Hoffman in her examiner article (take it as rumor)

"I’m not going to beat around the bush, my daughter’s jacket that she was wearing when she saw me last, that someone recognized as she was driving as a dark navy blue color - something up top - obviously that’s the jacket, her longwood softball jacket with her name stenciled in it, now that was found in this guy’s possession hidden in his house," [WH] said.

If this were true, there would just about definitely had been a police visit and someone escorted downtown with the evidence in tow. Does anyone in the neighborhood have any recollection of seeing a cruiser at or HD going into this residence around the time of this find?

True. I guess I was just quoting earlier from the article that was posted that's all. Most of what we say is just opinions and speculation. Next time I will make sure when I make a comment about what WH says I will make sure I link it back to that article. I'm not saying what he has said is fact. Nothing that he has said LE has not confirmed. Nothing that we have been talking about the neighbor seeing a white car in the drive has been confirmed by LE.
Pretty much anything that we have been talking about that came from that interview/article has not been confirmed but we still mention it here as theory.

I think we need to keep in mind that almost all of these details, eyewitness accounts, leads, search warrant details, etc., are being provided to the msm by WH himself. So far, LE has not confirmed or denied any of these details. Until or unless they do, I'm being rather cautious of accepting WH's details as the gospel truth.

MOO.
