Was BR involved? #2

It was one of the forensic specialists, don't recall if it was Wecht or Spitz, who suggested the cheek mark had a "boat-like structure" within it that was suggestive of a button or snap. The coroner who did the autopsy made no such suggestion, limiting his description to "abrasions".

Maybe there's something else in the train room that matches...just like the train track marks...or supposed "stun gun" marks

Where she was hit in the head she fell...and the blood pooled over the objects she landed on

From the moment I got interested in this case I believed RDI. I leaned to the PDI camp until I read Kolar's AMA last week. It was hard for me to understand the whole BDI thing, but now it seems clear to me. IMHO that's why both Patsy and John covered it up. Interesting that Kolar believes that whatever it happened started in the kitchen. So I'm thinking ,IIRC pineapple was JB favorite snack. What if Burke went to the basement looking for the unwrapped presents with the flashlight, then came to the kitchen to have his snack, JB comes in and with her hand grabs a piece of pineapple from Burke's bowl. He gets mad, sitting in the kitchen balcony (on a position higher than JB,thus applying a force capable of making the head injury ) grabs the flashlight and hit her and she collapses on the floor. From there there's many hypothesis, Burke calling a parent right away I think it's the most likely because I can't see him dragging JB to the basement by himself. But then Kolar also said the garrote wasn't just staging so I'm trying to make sense of that too but it's just way too... complicated for me to fill in all the pieces into a coherent theory. I hope I'm making sense. I think the AMA was just amazing and very informative even with the chief not being able to lay down all his theory word by word. At least to me everything he said was very enlightening.

I haven't read Kolar's book yet, but I sort of find the Burke theories far-fetched. Not impossible by any means, but not as likely as a rage attack by one or both parents. I see Burke as a victim just like Jonbenet was. If the feces-smearing claims are true, that suggests stress/trauma more than sexual behavioral problems (SBP) to me. But I'm no psychologist.

Would be interesting to know more about each Ramsey's psychological profile and what was going on in that house leading up to the murder.

May I ask what part of the book this was in? I'm rather fuzzy on where he thought this had started. I'd like to go over that again.

He said it in the AMA, I don't know if I can link it so I'll just quote what he said (hope that's ok mods )
" Based upon Dr. Spitz’s analysis, I believe it possible that it was the instrument used to deliver the blow to JBR’s head in the area of the kitchen." -the instrument he's referring to is the flashlight.

I believe this could have been better communicated. I would have said it like this: "Based upon Dr. Spitz’s analysis, I believe it possible that the instrument, which was used to deliver the blow to JBR’s head, was in the area of the kitchen."

I don't recall that but anyway he touched the bowl ,his and Patsy's prints were on it and JB's were not.

As I recall, Patsy said that BR prefered chocolate. It doesn't mean that he did or didn't eat pineapple on that night.

Hi dogperson. People have suggested a variety of Burke-flashlight-basement scenarios, and the reason they seem unlikely to me is that JBR found the basement creepy and disliked going there at all. I can only think she would have liked going there alone with Burke at night, using the flashlight, far less.

It emerged during the investigation that the Rams normally kept their flashlight (you know, the one that the flashlight found on the kitchen counter so closely resembled :waiting:) in a small drawer in the back hall, so putting it away there would have been the least suspicious choice despite proximity to the kitchen. Why it was left in the open but wiped down - who knows? I expect St. Peter will be thoroughly bemused some years from now when person after person arrives at the pearly gates and says, "Why did the Ramseys leave the flashlight on the counter?"
Someone asked me once, if i were able to ask god one question.....
I would ask "who killed jbr?"
I just found it odd that you mentioned it too. :)

I'm convinced now Burke killed JonBenet and was repeatedly abusing her due to the size of the object or genitalia which was meant to have been put inside her.

I think it was either a toy of Burke's or his genitalia. As sick as that sounds. I think it was most likely to be a toy but i'm not sure.

The Ramseys said Burke was asleep but you could clearly hear him at the end of the 911 call. I think they faked the ransom note and covered up for him.

That's pretty much is really. The head bash and then a cover up.

There's loads of intangibles and different scenarios you could go down but i just have a gut feeling now after all these years that it was Burke. I used to compare him to other children who killed other children through violence and sexual abuse and a lot of them became repeat offenders later on in life.

RSBM Yeah but what would a kid do if they thought there were more secret Christmas presents down there?

Regardless of BR's participation in the events of the night, yes, he was a victim too.

Impossible to say, Tawny. I can only weigh likelihood based on what's known.

:seeya: Hi allysasaurus.

Well, St. Peter, but same general idea. It's fun to find someone who connects information the same way you do : ) Who killed JBR? could easily be my one question. Other top contenders: Who killed the three boys in West Memphis? and How was the Great Pyramid built and what does it mean? It's so strange sometimes to think of people close to me who've passed away, like my dad, and realize he knows the answers.

Regarding th pineapple; TOM HANEY: Do you eat or does anybody in the
15 family eat a bowl of pineapple?
16 PATSY RAMSEY: Well, the kids both ate
17 pineapple, but I would never serve a bowl like that of
18 pineapple. I would think I would put two or three
19 pieces on their plate with the rest of their food or
20 something, because, I mean, it looks weird to set out a
21 bowl like that.

Later in the same interview she contradicts herself ; TOM HANEY: How about Burke?
22 PATSY RAMSEY: No. He has a sweet tooth. He
23 doesn't like fruit too much. He likes pineapple a
24 little bit, strawberries a little bit, but he would not
25 pour himself a big bowl of pineapple.

So it is unclear if Burke did like pineapple or not but I always thought that the refrigerator door looks difficult to open for a little girl

Sorry, I don't see any contradiction there. Bothe state that Burke would eat pineapple and that she wouldn't serve it in a big bowl. Am I missing your point anne?

Well, I have a pretty good idea of the answers. The 3 guys they let go killed the West Memphis boys, and aliens built the great pyramids. As for the who killed JB, there is a short list. The 3 names on it were all the other people in the house who didn't ket killed that night.

allysasaurus,
Well on the West Memphis Three, I always suspected the guy who had all his teeth removed prior to him being called to do a dental impression, since the perp bit one or more of the boys? I followed the case and have all the documentaries.

Recent research has shown that local skilled workers built the Great Pyramid using methods developed from the earlier stepped pyramids. Many have aligned the chambers with Sirius and Orion, noting interesting relationships.

The Egyptians were not the first to build pyramids that honor goes to early South American cultures. Machu Picchu is an engineering masterpieice, its built to withstand earthquakes, which is why many of the buildings built by the spanish have long vanished. Next time you watch a documentary about Machu Picchu or any of the other sites, note the trapezoidal shape of the windows and doors, and some very large stones, e.g. some as heavy as 300 tons! Thats deliberate and is part of the design to withstand earthquakes.

Who killed JonBenet? Probably one of the parents, deliberately creating a staged crime-scene, yet according to Kolar's unpublished prosecution theory he has BR responsible for nearly everything including ligature asphyxiating JonBenet to death!

If that sounds confusing, it is and I'm none the wiser!
